An amazing game, from the music, the artstyle, even the combat can be fun. Please buy this game for the sake of having a great time

So, the narrative? Not good, felt rushed, felt like I had Osiris in my ear throughout the whole campaign.
The gameplay? Amazing, the gameplay of the legendary campaign was difficult, was challenging and IS a campaign that I will repeat in my 2 other characters without any doubt, compared with Beyond Stasis, I don't feel like it's a chore to unlock strand.
The patrols are engaging, although the place feels empty, the neon vibes fit perfectly. The rotating public event every day is super fun to do, again, not a chore to complete.
The super? Is cool, was a bit letdown initially due to the cooldowns of the grapples, but since Bungie unlocked all the strand fragments everything is going smooth.

Overall? If you want narrative, this is not the campaign for you, if you want a brand new place with new weapons an a super fun super, with challenging gameplay? Buy it. I personally don't play Destiny so I can review a DLC on a 4 hour campaign I speedrun and watch cutscenes later, I play it because the gameplay is engaging, and review DLCs based on that!

home alone and want to scream your lungs out? this game.

A previous 11/10, now a 5/10 at best.

The game didn't change much, we still have the same content as always... For the past 2 years.
Season after season everything is a drag, I log in, do dailies/weeklies (I want my battlepass skins). Rinse, repeat.

Doing raids feels a drag, pointless to farm or even do because a solo dungeon offers better gear than a 6 player "hard" activity.

You grind exp, not gear, that gets reset every 2-3 months, just so you can do some high tier content without feeling like Carl being weapon tested.

My builds get obsolete every 2-3 months. This is kind of a good thing, but turns into a chore after 2 years of doing dailies/weeklies, no meaningful grind and just minmaxing to be able to squish more 2% damage at a boss.

There's no power fantasy here, you will just get stomped in high tier content if your build sucks.

This game turned into a second job, being a "vet" sucks in this game because we get nothing from being here for years, no new experiences no nothing.

5/10, buy all the DLCs at your own peril, that's the only way to actually play the game.

I played this game since 3.0, it was so fun back then, with all that flying around in reshanta and stuff...
Then 6.0 and 7.0 showed up and my will to play it ceased, here's why:
.Quests give you an enormous amount of exp compared to when i played the game
.Pay or nay, have fun doing PvE until a fully P2W PvP player shows up and forces you to hide behind your useless guards
.They took my reshanta, it was a fun place, i played there and farmed quite a bit abyss points (i am not quite a PvP player myself)
.By taking away reshanta, flying didnt mean much to me anymore, glide is basically what you have (i stopped playing around level 55 or something like that)
.I used to go to a mob camp with my family and farm them for money, was fun, until it became useless
And many more, i simply lost my interest in this game like many others, play older versions, i find them funnier and more appealing in both PvP and PvE.

A friend gifted me this game, best time i've been going through, 11/10

Day 1: beaten to almost death by bandits
Day 5: beaten to almost death by Holy Nation
Day 7: beaten to death by a swarm of blood spiders

I think i'm doing something wrong, but 11/10 i totally recommend this game, mod it and enjoy yourself!
