The game itself is actually amazing with many different things you can do for you side. I was hesitant to buy because I saw lots of negative reviews about clans. I didn't experience anything like that for the first few days. Everyone is cool and polite.

As of this post I've been banned for an hour. I was using the mineseeker mini-train to deliver scrap to the refinery when a clan surrounded it so that it wouldnt move. Then they shot me off of it and killed me. Every time I respawned and came back they killed me. they killed me about 5 or 6 times before I started fighting back and managed to kill 2 of them. They then got me banned from the server.

As a new player I didn't realise they were gaming the system. They made sure that it wasnt the same player killing me over and over, while I got a weapon ban, then they all collectively banned me from the server altogether. Basically I got a ban because I was minding my own business and they mass reported me.

I can't recommend a game that gives a few players the power to ban other players by abusing the report system. Yes, it is an actual problem with this game, the bad reviews are not exaggerating. I checked, and people have been complaining about this for years. Not worth buying until the problem is fixed really or you'll end up spending money on a game others can stop you from playing.

If you are interested in this game, I recommend you stop right now. I highly do not recommend playing this game for several reasons, all of which I will try to list on this review. If you a moral person like me and my regiment then you will never wish to be involved in this disgusting corrupt pile of garbage.


I will briefly list the reasons why I do not recommend ever touching this game, and down below I will explain exactly why. The community is toxic with a horrible level of corruption, the developers do not care about the game at all, the company design is basically a flop and most importantly the experience plainly sucks at times.


Foxhole is a highly unique game with a constant active war that you must participate in, even if you do not wish to do so. This highly unique form of game is done in such a rushed, choppy and poor manner it ruins the game-play for everyone new and old. The community in this game has three core issues, each of which capable of ruining any game.

Alting or alternative account users, toxic regiments/player groups, and exploit abusers. Each one capable of ruining the game for everyone involved in it, all are usually active in any given war. The alting in the game is so bad, so rampant it will make you vomit. It is not something a normal player is able to recognize at first glance, but something a person in charge sees.

I lead a QRF regiment, what that means is we fight in the worst of battles for the Warden empire. The most hopeless and desperate of places are where we fight, and we try our best to win or face total defeat in our battles. It is in those battles I see the most vile and disgusting behavior of my fellow warden players, and I have tried everything to prevent it. The alts do not just appear for any given battle but ones of critical importance usually, with some rare variations but they all have one common theme of never being able to be banned.

You can mass report them with your entire regiment, you can shoot them, you can swear at them at every encounter and they will continue to drive stolen colonial logi to you from the seaports/storage depots. They will not be banned for alting, they will not care if you mute them, you can only watch near helplessly as they rig the game you wanted to be hard. The moment you become encircled at any given position, you will begin to see them creep out of their dark hole.

Enemy logi trucks that have no reason of being sent to your front line are suddenly easy to capture, complete with all the supplies you need. The sheer amount of so called "partisan Logi" I have destroyed from alts is enough to fill any relic ten times.I hate this, I have tried nearly f**ing everything to stop it, and finally I found something that works. You report them for "swearing" or other hate related crimes, yes that is right. The devs only ban alts for f**ing being racist, no not breaking the game!

The alts in the game are so arrogant and toxic knowing full well you cannot touch them on either side! We have had operations in tempest sending in iron ships filled with tanks only for a single alt to drive them in the ocean when we weren't at tempest doing a QRF, or my favorite is the shirt thief's. They take all the soldier supplies out of a important battle's relic and jump in a F**ing river to destroy them, only for an alt on our side to send more! It is literally just ALT vs ALT in some battles seeing who can ruin the game faster on the opposing side.

Literally I have LOST island battles because I refused any aid from the alting wardens, and I do so proudly knowing the colly won by alts stealing our shirts. The exact battles can be named by my entire regiment, the players who alted against us can also be named but nothing happens to anyone we reported. War 110 the start of the war in Oarbreaker isles, we lost the Oarbreaker isles because of alts and I am proud to refuse the aid of the warden alts willing to send us fully loaded GUNBOATS for free. Literally game breaking ♥♥♥♥, and I refused them every time knowing I would lose without their gear and so did my entire regiment proudly. The same cannot be said for the pieces of s*** in the fingers in 110...


Being the person in charge of critical battles, at times the alts will reach out to me. In many cases it will be a simple question of what gear we need, but they refuse to answer how they will get it. The first time I had this happen to me directly was on Isawa during 110 when an a Warden alt kept offering to send us supplies despite the island being fully encircled by a Destroyer, a battleship, and tons of colly gunboats. I didn't know how or where they came from, but we suddenly went from 100 shirts to 400, and it was only after I realized the bastard was offering to send it via alt not genuine partisan logi. Of course they were protected by the community being a (MAJ) and I was seen as the a**hole for wanting to ban him for alting for the warden side.

The ban for being toxic or whatever we can stick on these alts just goes away after a short while, repeating the same exact cycle. The devs know this and are fine with it, simply put this goes down to a core basic thing in foxhole. They aren't making money off this game without the alts. What do I mean? The alts literally buy the game twice to alt, and some I have seen first hand do 3-4 accounts which is nuts. They literally keep buying the game at fully price, and the devs love the money and do nothing to stop it. This is pure raw corruption at it's finest, paying off to win while everyone who wants to play fairly loses. At least other scam games tell you when it is pay to win, foxhole just lets the players discover it is pay to win the hard way!

Now the toxic community part of the game is even worse, and it is most noticeable to the rear line side of the game. To build a facility it requires Msubs to maintain, and for players to actually build it. All of this is fine, except when you get lunatic neighboring facilities that ONLY steal Msubs. You will run out patience and blow up all their s***, and they will realize not to do it again and only then or you will abandoned the facility like we do. People will steal, and continue to steal from your facilities as soon as anything is slightly public.

Do not try to build a facility on your own in this game, you will be harassed by everyone. The facilities in my regiment were all built by former solo facility players who almost quit from all the harassment they received DAILY. Stealing msubs, threatening to mass flag their foundations, even letting "partisans" find their base to remove it. Steal our conc mixer? Well good luck, I guess that bunker base of yours that was going to have a storm cannon ran out of msubs when you logged off a**hole. This type of ♥♥♥♥ is NORMAL on foxhole, and I do not participate in this corrupt nightmare!

Instead of stealing Msubs or ruining other peoples bases, we decided to build stuff far away from everyone else. I was not going to stoop to their level and ruin other peoples game-play, instead we found a island that nobody wanted and built there instead. I would rather deal with genuine partisans than a criminal economy based around mutually hurting the person next to you.

Does foxhole have a real economy? YES, it is of 1940's chicago with big criminal groups called regiments calling the shots. With the only way to make them not ruin your life is to stay away as far as you can like we do, or hurt them in return like everyone else is forced to do! Simple easy to add changes would end all of this criminal economy, preventing it from spreading into everything but the Corrupt and lazy devs do not care at all!

The exploits are equally bad, with some players being able to literally fly across the map using a glitch with a wall blueprint near a mortar house. The irons ships are spammed out filling entire oceans stopping all naval gameplay, I cannot list it all but it is stupid large the list of exploits.

Wonderful game with so many amazing opportunities and tactics, but my teacher is so horrible at teaching me.
