From playing the second beta I was a bit worried about game stability and graphics but my mid tier computer has been running the game on high settings with a consistent 45-60 fps. Armor and weapons look interesting and the game has been smooth for boss fighting. The story is decently interesting but the pacing is very repetitive (Go to new area, fight a few bosses, watch a few cutscenes, fight the alpha boss, go to new area and sprinkle some mainline story progression in) But that's also the game loop for the entire series so take that with a grain of salt. Overall the game has been great I put 30 hours in over the first weekend and am looking forward to putting more in over the coming weeks and to see what future bosses they release.

Complete, immersive, and insanely fun. Exploring the world solo or with friends is a new experience as you explore the options your characters story would make. Whether you play a hardcore story or save scum your way to victory you're bound to have a great time and enjoy the challenge. Game of the year so far.

Magical and enchanting, entering the world of Hogwarts and getting to explore and discover the grounds for myself has been an amazing adventure and i'm super pleased with the game as a whole. I'll list a few pros and cons in my opinion on some of the highlights and minor downfalls of the game followed by a rating on a scale to 10.

Pros:
The game looks amazing, while i'm not playing with max graphics or even ray tracing I think the world itself looks spectacular and really captures a magically realistic depiction of Hogwarts compared to the movies.

The sheer amount of versatility in combat is great, with an arsenal of spells at your side the hardest thing to do is figure out which combo you're using. The combat feels snappy and your abilities feel powerful when used properly.

As for the quests and story it honestly reminds me of the shenanigans Harry and his crew would get up to from sneaking through the restricted section of the library to taking hidden tunnels from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade you'll constantly see reminders of the wizarding world we taking part in.

Cons:

Flight, I don't have many issues with it but having pitch up and down be on control and space instead of being able to direct it with the mouse is a bit of a pain when it comes to overall control on the broom.

the Tab wheel for potions and herbology plants, I think this completely segments combat and makes it feel less engaging when you have to pause in the middle and take 3 different potions by selecting them each one at a time and then dropping your plants to help fight. An easy fix would be allowing us to assign potions/plants to certain keybinds like we do with spells. For instance I could bind my Endurus Potion to Shift+1 or if it can only be 1 key then I would make it tilde 5,6,7, and 8

Finally the puzzles, some of the puzzles are really cool and engaging! However a lot of content is locked behind literal locks and the lockpicking minigame is really lackluster especially considering there's 3 different levels to it which would have been cool if the higher level locks had additional pins or was timed or offered some sort of challenge beyond the base lockpicking. The daedalion keys for the cupboards in Hogwarts also had the same issue for me, it was the same minigame every time when there was potential I think for an interactive minigame involving something aside from slapping a key when it goes over the middle.

I'm unsure if i'll have an updated rating but as where I stand I have about 50% game completion and plan to get 100%

With that being said I rate this game a 8.7/10 I HIGHLY recommend this game to my friends if you're a fan of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World you'll be a fan of this game

Havest Moon with that fantasy feeling RPG players love, game has a ton of room for growth. Definitely worth the pickup if you like these types of games.
