It meets the low bar of being better than League

I think it's very fun with friends too

Didn't play it for a while because I didn't expect much, but holy hell this game was really good. The narrative and gameplay is really interesting and fun, although I will say I am not one to play games on harder modes. That being said, for me, the combat and progression I felt was pretty straight forward. I didn't find much depth to it, but I do not think that is necessarily a bad thing. The focus for me was the story which is worth to play the game in itself. The voice acting I thought was great and I did feel like my choices impacted the story (although, I will say, I don't actually know if it did). There was a lot more to explore than what was needed too, although navigating terrain got kind of repetitive toward the end. It basically is just go forward, although it is very fun to listen to the conversation the guardians have as you move along - it is different and there is a lot of varying dialogue within even each chapter. They do also talk a lot during combat, which at first is very fun to listen to, but the lines get recycled a lot and near the end, once you hear them all, it did get kind of annoying (I also might have just taken a while on combat haha). Still, I don't really think it's much of an issue since I'm not really focusing on what they're saying when trying not to die.

While I did list a lot of what I like, this game does suffer a bit from annoying clarity issues. For example, once you get your first element, you're introduced to a quick-time event that does not really have much explanation and failing it makes you repeat about a minute long cut-scene. It seems that the game was made more for controller, since the idea was to line up two analog sticks which didn't really translate well for pc since it just showed arrow keys and the mouse and I had 3 second intervals to try and decipher whether I was supposed to click something together, spam the keys, or bring them all together. Flying the ship is also terrible with keyboard input. These clarity issues I think are few, but they did really negatively impact my experience since there was a pretty big consequence for not understanding them.

One of worst tcg experiences I've had. Went into ranked (because there is no other option) after finishing solo and got killed in one turn after waiting 20 minutes by some guy whose name I can't read. I've played against someone my skill level like twice out of 25 games - and even then it still was not much fun.

If you like modern yu-gi-oh and have played it a lot or have a friend that has that will teach you it's probably fun. The animations, art and soundtrack is good. It seems very f2p friendly too. It's just literally terrible for new players. Way too complex and an extremely bad skill match making.

I played this a whole lot on xbox and it is by far my favorite rts of all time.

The multiplayer is quite dead, but the campaign is worth it if you don't have friends to play with
