Great game for Monster Hunter/Soulsborne enjoyers to play while waiting for the next titles; the story is good but just like Monster Hunter it exists to teach you the game and shuttle you to the endgame, the real grind is after the story. The menu art is well polished and there are lots of small details throughout the game that show that the developers really cared. The combat is fun, but the campaign wasn't very challenging even on hard mode. This is because there exists two difficulty tiers higher than what you can select in the start, which you will not gain access to till after the story is finished.

Despite the experience being great, there are several issues that I encountered:
-There are issues with the steam overlay disconnecting the controls
-Keyboard and mouse is fairly clunky, use a controller
-Playstation controller routinely disconnects and won't work till you restart the game
-The campaigns hardest difficulty is too easy (Hard), it's borderline impossible to fail any quest even while neglecting other party members besides your own. It would be nice to have access to all of the difficulty settings from the very beginning.

DLCs make the game worth it, and has the best souls pvp.

Very good game, great combat mechanics. Some people are having a very difficult time because they don't understand that this game is about breaking the enemies posture, not killing them the conventional way like in other soulsborne games.
