It's the cherry on top of the RE4 remake experience.
I've been waiting (im)patiently for them to finally release Separate Ways, and for a measly 10 dollars they've really knocked it out of the park by packing it full of interesting new content. FANTASTIC addition to an already solid game.

Just like the Resident Evil 2 remake, RE4make is an all around awesome experience. It closely follows the storyline set up by the original while adding modern graphics and improved gameplay mechanics. Funnily enough my only gripe in terms of changed content is that Leon doesn't have all of his stupid, corny one-liners. The bingo thing is there of course, but lines like "No thanks, bro", and "I've got gum." don't make an appearance. It's really not that big of a deal to me though, since Leon is still super sarcastic and dorky in a way that better fits Resident Evil's tone, which I appreciate. A big part of REmakes is polishing their historically goofy dialogue choices, after all. Additionally, I love that I have the option to use the original soundtracks or the new versions. It's a nice touch!

Another easy recommendation for the Resident Evil remakes. You really can't go wrong with getting it.

I've enjoyed every second I've played and I haven't felt this kind of enthusiasm for a game in a cool minute. It's incredibly refreshing to play a well polished game that continues to receive top notch attention from the devs. Super recommend if you enjoy adventure games that have a great balance of story and action, or if you just really like D&D.

Beautiful art accompanied by fantastic narration. I was instantly hooked on the story - the concept of the Brillo whales is so cool and every introduction/explanation of new species or concepts is done smoothly and in a way that doesn't overwhelm. I'm eagerly (and patiently, considering it's a team of 1 working on this project) waiting for part 2!

A fun little challenge mode that's all about killing as many enemies as you possibly can. You are able to play as Leon, Luis, Krauser, and Hunk who all have different abilities. Not particularly hard in any way, but enjoyable nonetheless. Hopefully they add Wesker and Ada as playable mercenaries in the future!

Simply put, I love RE2. This is a brilliant remake of the original. Every time I boot up the game I'm excited to play, and I've unlocked all of the achievements. I highly recommend RE2make to both long time fans as well as newcomers to the RE series. Pick between playing as Rookie cop Leon Kennedy or college student Claire Redfield, sister to S.T.A.R.S member Chris Redfield from the original Resident Evil, and enjoy killing some zombies!

Very stressful, made me nauseous, and I laughed so hard at not being able to pick a pizza up off the floor that I went into a coughing fit.

10/10, I served a man pizza off of the rat infested floor.

Like some have stated, its a walking simulator but with an interesting story. Being chased by enemies is trial and error. When you're caught or purposefully guided towards a dead end you're sent back to a select point right as the chase starts until you choose the correct path. Almost like a quick time event, but more bland. And that's coming from someone who adores certain titles that have QTEs in them. The atmosphere and environment are what really shine here but I wish there had been more to all of it. Nothing wrong with walking horror games that tell a story but there was something distinctly disappointing and lacking about Close to The Sun. It's all looks and no substance, like an overpriced 'gourmet' burger. During my first playthrough my enjoyment steadily decreased as it went on, and on my second I had quickly lost any interest. It's not horrible but its just not that great either. The only similarities with Bioshock are the failed utopia themes. But Bioshock is a gem, and this is fool's gold. Go play Bioshock again, because you won't find the scratch to that Bioshock itch with Close to The Sun.

It has everything the first game didn't, and more. Don't waste your time with the first game, its almost insulting how little content it had compared to AoT 2.

Fantastic overall.

Honestly my favorite Borderlands out of the bunch. Good story (certainly better than 3's story, if you can believe that) and you get to see how Jack turned into Handsome Jack. I won't forget how excited I was for Pre-sequel back in 2014 when it was announced. Great game!
