My review for this game is essentially the same as that for Arkham City.
The campaign is good, though I agree with the general consensus that there is too much of a focus on the batmobile sections. Yes it added something different to the series but it had such a major part that it lost some of what made the series so good.
I think as well the map was too big for the game. Too much driving around, not enough time being batman.
The challenges add a new breath of life after game completion but the bane of an achievement hunter's existance. Some of them take some serious button mashing but require more time than I have to spend.

If you get the DLC the episodes are fun but far too short.
I only recommend getting this on sale and the DLC does make a difference in my opinion though if you're only interested in the campaign and story then get it on sale sans DLC.
