I hoped I could get into a fromsoft title with ER, but clearly the issues I read about are front and center. If you don't mind reading guides and watching lots of how to vids, them maybe ER is for you. Like getting your game disrupted by random overleveled cheese build player invasions, maybe ER is for you. Can you put up with a fairly toxic community full of "git gud" (not to say there aren't nice folks out there too, just much less and less vocal)
Like dying all the time and not knowing why? another point for ER and u being a good match. Don't get me wrong, I like hard games but they have to be fair to the player. ER is not, and honestly feels more like a chore then a game to me. Games are recreation, and I have a full time job without 100's of hours to devote to a game that has so many flaws. Sorry, there's way too much better content out there.

Sad to say, the immunity meter, laughably low and draining stamina and lackluster combat means DL2 can't hold a candle to DL1. I know they wanted to include RPG mechanics but they went way too grindy for a first person zombie game. If things change as I play more I'll change this review.

Update: my biggest gripe is how floaty and unrealistic the jumps feel. I mean, you can literally leap a level and wide 2 lane street including sidewalks and land clean, but then you spend 30 seconds hanging from a wall and fall cause of lack of strength. That's a huge logical inconsistency, and the stamina gage (yes, even with upgrades) takes away the old fun of just scrambling up the side of a 3 story building anywhere that was climbable. Oh, and yeah this game is pretty buggy, lots of soft locks and reloads, plus back up that save! Right now, it's still thumbs down but I'll change it if they actually fix they game to bring it even close to the quality of the first.

Great story driven game, too short for full price tho. I don't mind, got it for free.

BORING GRIND FEST!!!!

Game difficulty is unbalanced, dev's don't listen to players feedback. Nightmare difficulty is basically impossible without cheesing by speed running. Recruit is a joke, and veteran is basically un-doable with random team members. Don't even get me started on the awful console players who think they're hot stuff cause that have a mic. Not worth the price, basically just not fun at this point. You will regularly get into RNG situations that are cannot be overcome, regardless. This is not a Darkest Dungeon, its a zombie shooter, i dont want to deal with RNG randomly ruining hald my runs cause they want to satisfy the sweaty try hards. Go get Deep Rock Galactic, or world war z. Even L4D2 is still a better game even with its age. Don't even give me git gud either.

Update: While they fixed the crazy difficulty, the games still a no for me. They've been bought by tencent and and are already selling a season pass that doesn't actually have any content in it, yet, so they say anyways! Lame company, mostly dead game.

Way too short for the price, decent but way too short and no replayability. Not worth your time.

Started with an twist on company of hero's type game play, but seems to have brought the worst of those games with little of the good. Main issues are laughable unit AI, like they don't bother to shoot back when fired upon! Add in enemy AI being totally lacking, just throwing wave after wave at you with no sense of tactics. This game quickly devolves into throwing units across the map, and with the joke AI it's not fun at all.

I didnt need to play for long to feel how terrible and janky the controls feel! Terrible!!!

Enjoy trying to learn confusing combo's and moves for randomly alternating characters with little to no tutorial support? How about character abilities with hard to activate triggers and confusing, poorly implimented mechanics? This game is for you! A plus if you enjoy super linear levels and hyper sexualization of female characters!

A boring and lackluster RTS with a VERY limited campaign and terrible AI for multiplayer, plus no one plays online anyways. The only cool idea is to have a carrier instead of building a base, but that doesn't get Deserts of Kharak very far. It lacks any kind of formation management and engagements typically devolve into death swarms with little to no tactics involved. On the other hand, the deserts look kinda cool. I got this game for 12.50 and still feel ripped off. There's a million RTS games out there, give this one a miss.
