I got turned away from shooters for a long time due to people over-aggrandizing the AAA shooter market. This game fills so many gaps that those games could only dream of. Scaling difficulty with how many teammates are present, unique and insanely customizable classes that are both independent and dependent on other classes specializations, and you'll never play the same map twice unless its a deep dive or an elite deep dive.

This game has charm, hutzpah, style, and developers who are and know their community to its fullest. Intense and rewarding gameplay at any difficulty, hilarious dialogue, beer, non-beer(gross), and a dance floor to party on after a successful mission.

This game packs a lot and with it comes DLC in the form of cosmetic only, which is all fantastic. There are seasonal rewards now! More cosmetics! Show off some style as you blast through Hoxxes IV.

I started with this on Steam but have spent most of it on my Windows/Xbox account due to its cross-play capabilities. I have played hundreds of games and this is one of the few I'm proud to say I have a 100% achievement status on. I'm at least 500hrs in and there is still more to unlock. This games development is many years in and always pushing out new content that the community eats up, what's not to love?

So gear up, slam down a Red Rock Blaster, kick a barrel in the hoop, dive deep, and make Karl proud.
