tekken 8 exists so this mediocre terrible movement counterhit fishing fest of a sad excuse for a tekken game can die along with its introduction of rage art. this game was hard carried by the fact that it dumbed a lot of stuff down and had cool guest characters. its a barren wasteland of content, terrible story mode besides the very cool final battle, art style is the worst in the series besides the PS1 games, was only so popular because it was the only tekken on steam, all the stages are just round boxes, very boring,

this game was made with a shoe string budget yet managed to save the franchise with its casual appeal so ill always give it its props for that, its just a shame heihachi's last game was this 2D esque tekken 50/50 counterhit safe launcher fest lol

they ruined Testaments design, for that reason alone this game blows ass

Much better after the mediocrity that was T7, I can actually move around in this game consistently

EDIT: IF the movement was as good as tag 2 and all of the wonky ass hitboxes were fixed this couldve honestly been the best tekken since 5

but instead its unbalanced as hell, a lot of stuff straight up doesn't work, ranking system makes no sense, ragequitting is not punished, the dev team wants to reward mashing above all else, and theres a lot of characters with unfair unclear animations (eddy azucena) yet characters with completely fair animations (kazuya). makes no sense really. Offline content wise its amazing tho, tekken ball, cool story, lots of stuff to unlock, a damn near whopping 300 songs with your own way to customize to OST.

also half the moves track when they shouldnt same for grabs, dumb as hell

EDIT2: game was designed to reward flowchart and mashing above all else and the nerfed movement does nothing but make the game infinitely less interesting on every level,

The greatest game ever made, fantastic art style, great story, endlessly replayable gameplay, superb set of bosses, a banger OST, what more could you want? Oh but DO get the mods for this port, its horrendusly bad, I'd reccomend the switch version emulated on YUZU instead honestly.

Best sonic game since unleashed, the open world is fantastically fun to run around and platform in, the story was actually given care and is just as good as the adventure/unleashed games, if not maybe even a little better. The combat actually is decently fun if a little mashy, the enemies mostly feel unique and actually feel like a natural evolution of sonics fast movement system instead of an annoyance. The music is lack luster most of the time and the cyber space levels all mostly suck, usually just being worse versions of sonic levels from previous games, but the open world is practically a gigantic fun ass level so it evens out

if you like sonic at all or just open world games this is 4 u my fren

If you liked old street fighters this ones boring as sin, stubby ass buttons, V trigger is the dumbest mechanic of all time, combos are completely stiff unless you get the comeback mechanic, very scrub oriented gameplans. music is pretty good though, if you're new to Fighting games you might like it, everything about it is pretty good besides overall fun gameplay

Be prepared to guess 10 times per game tho
