Steam Deck Review:
Gotta love the gameplay of being kicked out of the game and getting a black screen because you're not connected to the internet. If you're planning to buy this with the intention of playing it offline and on the go then I would heavily disregard this game. This game kicks you out of a 50$ game YOU the consumer bought because you don't have internet for a SINGLEPLAYER game. I was super excited to play this last night and downloaded it when I had wifi, only to be met with a screen saying I need to be signed into rockstar games to play it. Loved the game back then but this one right here is one of the reason why we need physical copies still, pay for a game and you can't even play it without signing MULTIPLE terms of agreements.

Edited review: Review up top was a first hands impression of using the rockstar launcher. I will say after signing into an account and being online for a day you can use it offline for the foreseeable future. However being new to the having to sign in into an online launcher for an offline game that I could've done no problem back in 2010 when the game released is still stupid.
Gameplay: I find that the game runs really great on the steam deck compared to most steam games I find "playable" on there. If I hadn't run into any issue initially I'd say this would be a perfect fit for the steam deck seeing as I get no frame drops while playing the game for long periods of hours.

Feel free to add more to my review below whether you like it or not. This was just my first hands experience dealing with issues like this and I still feel like it shouldn't be this way.

Update on my review: It's a very good mmo gameplay wise, the grind? not so much. Current situation with throne and liberty is the bots. With how they can just queue for public dungeons and kill major enemies needed for contracts. I would stay away from this game until the dev's get their ♥♥♥♥ together and get rid of them. The grind as I mentioned earlier is really tedious. It has in-game TIMED events like guild of wars 2 (meaning you need to be online at a certain time of the day) but compared to that game where you have guaranteed gear drops and achievements for new mounts, throne and liberty doesn't have any of that. It's all luck based and you have to pray to the rng gods you get the gear you actually want and not the 25 different other drops the boss has. The graphics are beautiful I will say, but doesn't have the more important feature of a third person game, transmog. I said it in my new world review and I'll say it here. After getting the best gear you want in game, you want an outfit to look cool or match your style. TL only has transmog for PAID clothing you buy in the store, and get this, it's TIMED, so you won't even be able to get an outfit you see someone has if the time period for it expired. I noticed this right after the Halloween update that dropped, that they got rid of a few outfits in the store that are now labeled (unavailable or no longer for purchase). I'd say wait and let the game run it's course to see if it survives and get it's ♥♥♥♥ together or not.

Needs more enemy variety and content theres like no endgame lmao.

They need to fix their cloud save, every other game i play gives me the option to choose a save on my steam deck or pc to override and this game backtracked 100 hours into another save i didn't plan on using, fix your game redhook give me the option to choose saves again, rarely i play on my steam deck but the first time in a while i boot it up, it uses the old save with no option to use my pc and it overid it back on my pc. Losing a 100 hours into a game because you disabled it is actually wack.

100% worth a try. Thought I wasn't into turn based games until I tried this one out. Started to remember old games i used to play around 2005-2010 that had similar mechanics to this game, never thought I'd play a game like those ever again. Would recommend even if the person isn't into these type of games it's definitely fun with so much freedom on how you can craft your story.

Unless you got an ssd for this game you'll be either playing starfield or loading screen simulator not worth the 70$.

Would not recommend. I mean on my other review I gave Elder Scrolls Online ♥♥♥♥ but this is just low. Look I get it that it has no sub thing so the only thing you need to pay for is dlc. Which is nice but having to pay for transmog? ♥♥♥♥ man just add a sub instead if they needed money. Take out the battle pass too why does this game need something like this? I love the game and it has so much potential. But it needs to take a more modern direction if it isn't making money. Having to charge people to change clothing items may not seem impact full because "its only cosmetic so it doesn't affect your stats". This game is third person 100% of the time you're going to see your character a lot and you want YOUR character to look good. Not all people will but I know most.

I keep going back and forth between "We're so back!!" and "♥♥♥♥ it's all over". I think I just played this game too much hoping it would get content at a consistant enough rate to keep me playing but with the game finally out of beta (no I'm not going to sugar coat it, it took them two ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years to implement no gambling system). Do I think it's a great game? hell yea, do I think the gameplay is enjoyable, 2000 hours should say enough. I just think after 2 years in beta they sort of needed a plan to go on the side after they got the game to the standard it should've been at launch. Like an expansion/story plan, but with them changing writers constantly I honestly dont know what the ♥♥♥♥ the story is now. It gets interesting then it gets boring then it gets interesting then the recent one just ended on a cliffhanger. LIke the most boring cliffhanger you can think of to go back to after idk how long. Anyone new to the game I highly recommend but for vets and myself I honestly can't think of anything more to do/explore in the lore and content of the game. Surely 2 years from now they'll finally have something right? Just like every other half baked games these days...

I'll sum up my review with one line, the devs are getting lazier by the year.

Tutorial:
Up until two years ago we had custom intros and a story for why our character appeared in (insert dlc you bought). Now they cut back that and put in a generic tutorial that allows you to go anywhere but feels like a marvel slop intro into the multiverse as to why you can go there. There is no story, no purpose, no writing, just the fact you chose this place to begin and that's it.
Pvp:
Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, eso's pvp community had to suffer through alot and it all came down to recently when their combat director didn't know how to block or roll. Two basic function that are a basic skill that a 5 year old can understand.
Pve:
You're better off watching paint dry
Market:
The devs around november 2024 crashed their own market with their brilliance of cutting down the amount of time an item stays on the market from 30 to only 7, they even pulled out a whole ass chart to prove how amazing this would be for the (lazy ass devs) players. The whole market to this day is in shambles and the ESO dev's can't understand what happened.

Crown Crates:
Put all your savings into it, your checking, your high yields, bank, credit card info, the company insurance money. All of it.

Races:
Unless you're High Elf or breton, every other race is inferior. Racism is normalized.

Mounts:
Can't earn any unless seasonal event, you get 1 brown horse and 3 different colors to choose from and thats it, rest need to be bought.

A different alternative:
Play guild wars, actually fun and hortizontal progression without worrying your gear will be defunct later on.
