I'm on what is probably my final playthru, on Survival from lvl 1 to 80 so far... with over 1k hrs, ya i like the content, modders make it worthwhile to replay. But all i can say is thank god I had a copy of the old version on my SSD, and was able to rollback easily.

Bethesda has become to arrogant to make quality games anymore, and i'll be very leery of making any future purchases. The franchise has been dumbed down and prettied up every new game they make. And the Rad Roaches are nothing compared to the slew of bugs in this game. I wish they would just start their world building tools over from scratch, and do it right this time. Never gunna happen. Seems they are more concerned about cashing in on the Fans that do 100x the work the company does.

Update: Although I find myself occasionally returning to the game, it is aging very poorly.

Just build a new gaming rig.

Setting the graphics to ultra = CTD under 15 seconds.
Had to reduce the quality to high, and godrays to low, Ambient Occlusion OFF
Weapons Debris OFF

And the game still struggles to maintain 60fps in 1920 x 1080.

and still CTD's every few hours. Sometimes by failing to load textures (Pitch Black Objects) leading to CTD's.

The Graphics engine must have been written by high school wannabe's. Worst Graphics engine ever.
