Don't listen to the naysayers, the game is great. No sub fee, only skin purchases. Thousands of hours of gathering/crafting, combat. (feels a bit like a survival game) Beautiful graphics and PVP, dungeons. No classes, you instead level any weapon or all weapons and use whatever weight of gear you want, talent trees don't feel forced into one path, you can choose whatever you wanna do or play. Most fun i've had in an MMO in a while. Still highly active, nowhere near dying.
People complaining just played for thousands of hours and are bored. Content is coming.

Nostalgic, beautiful graphics, fun gameplay. I just completed everything in the first game and now onto the next two. Highly recommend if you like collector platformers with fun combat and beautiful fantasy scenery.

Played a bunch on PS4, it's honestly a great game dont let the negativity fool you. one small problem i have is annoying input lag from my controller with this game, there's some things you can download to apparently fix it but it hasnt worked for me yet. Still worth it.

Game gave me a literal mental breakdown,

started rowing all my treasure desperately in a rowboat with no hope of reaching an outpost and actually found one by accident, 10/10

Keep quitting out of frustration and then logging back in right away, ToxicRelationship/10

Play it if you hate yourself and love pirates and pretty water.

Game is low price, fun, addictive. It's easy to get into and great to kill time with.
