Game's good now. It's mostly held back by bugs and crashes, but these aren't so prominent that they ruin the game, but they are enough that they should probably be addressed. Otherwise, extremely fun.

"Every card game just feels disappointing once you've played Spire" - Anonymous

Unbelievably fun. An easy 10/10.

The first game was great, and this game improves on it in pretty much every way.

On an SSD it runs fine. Not great, but fine. A lot better than on an HDD for sure. Otherwise it's good, not great. It clearly needed a few more months in the oven, and is basically an early access game. But it's enjoyable all the same.

Shocking works pretty well despite being a Bethesda game on launch. No crashes so far, but notably the game ran like ♥♥♥♥ on my HDD. Once I moved it to my SSD it runs fine. Besides that, there's some minor jank with melee combat and crouching. Overall though it's fun, it feels like a mix between Subnautica, No Man's Sky, and Fallout. There's a lot of freedom: If you feel like exploring and chilling, you can do that. If you want fun combat you can shoot pirates in space and on foot. And if you want a storyline, you can focus on following the questlines. Godd Howard has done it again, and this is truly a Bethesda redemption arc.

A solid classic, but I always felt it lost some of the hitman charm and freedom of choice towards the end of the game. Still great overall.

8/10

Having mastered its predecessor and now beaten this, Darkest Dungeon 2 is definitely solid. My only real major annoyance is giving some enemies the Death's Door feature, but that could be fixed easily enough I'm sure. This game is also not nearly as long as the first, and the meta game is a bit bare. But the combat, visuals, Wayne June, and the atmosphere are fantastic.
