This game is very addictive and laced with incredibly creepy vibes. Especially after long hours out on the open seas, the ships that may NOT be ships, that deep roaring deep in the depths and that interesting island...the one that always seems to get farther away, then vanish entirely.

If you're looking for a case of sea madness, pick this game up. That Overwhelming Positive rating is one that has been well and honestly earned by this game.

Enjoy all and watch out for the Leviathan!

I cannot recommend this game in its current state.

I prefer more hardcore horror games and this game falls into the light duty horror style atm. The environment is creepy, but also very cluttered and sometimes getting around can be very clunky. I found myself getting stuck on random items in the environment quite often.

The scares are rather predictable, approach a painting, good chance it's gonna jump at you or move. The ambiance is decently creepy with numerous random noises, but they quickly grow repetitive along with dismissable after a couple minutes. Just sounds.

For me, this game was more of a walking simulator, the tools are alright and I am thankful the devs didn't go overboard by adding a TON of useless tools that just up the tool count and take up space.

Finally, this game gave me quite a headache. The screen tearing during fast turns was noticeable and the lack of ambient occlusion settings may have contributed to it.

TL:DR; I would give this game a pass until the devs have had time to finesse and polish this game. It's cute, but not scary. Requested a refund.

I was one of the peeps with Phasmophobia quality high hopes for this game and they were dashed splendidly.

The game literally takes you and tosses you in a building with OODLES of mostly useless tools and says "Have fun, I need to go buy milk from the store!" Then never returns...

There really isn't a tutorial, just a training center with a ghost mannequin and a bunch of tools that have cut and paste descriptions... "Make your own fun, little Johnny!" I had no luck figuring out how to hold a tool and a flashlight, even though in the previews it IS shown. I guess I didn't do the tutori-...oh wait...

Afterwards, you can go to a haunted house and try to collect ectoplasm. ( I sadly cannot remember the other game modes, by this time I was already feeling my hopes getting skished...)

Again, with the being tossed into a truck with a bunch of tools, most of them useless. I wandered my arse around for quite a LONG time with no incidents, no scares, nothing but a walking simulator. Of course there are spooky ambient noises but they are out of place, rendering them more distracting in a negative fashion, not in a "ooooo sooo spooky' one. Knives being sharpened when you're walking through a bedroom, doors creaking when you're in a doorless room.

When I was finally tired of the walking simulator and already planning on requesting a refund, I finally got nabbed by a ghost and dragged AWAY!!! (so exciting!...naw, sorry)....to another room in the house...no ghost nearby to try to use one of the numerous tools for shooing away a ghost, again....walking simulator. Made my way from the house and directly to the refund page.

As so many others have already said, just play Phasmophobia. Get a positive ghost hunting experience with real scare factors. Not this watered down, over complicated (by WAY too many useless tools) and sadly uninteresting facsimile of Phasmophobia.

I went into this adventure with a high aire of skepticism. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of turn based card play. Nothing against it, it just hasn't ever grabbed me, engrossed me and forced me to return time and time again...

This game did...this game quickly grabbed me and dragged me into my first Death Card with Miner Leshy (it was a terrible card, honestly) but I did not get disheartened and went back in to beat that punk's arse! Then the Fisherman Leshy schooled me, went right back in fighting again. This is the first turn based card game I've ever played that actually made me want to come back and do more, learn more, fight more, find the Ouroboros and LEVEL HIM UP.

Figured it was just an 1 ACT game....card playing against some master of beasts time and time again...then..no...there are secrets, secrets everywhere! Turns out there's more to this game, more acts, more betrayal, more backstabbing, more skills, more sigils, more worlds with more places to find my beloved Ouroboros and LEVEL HIM MORE!

This game is worth it, on sale or full price, it is the most devilish card game I've ever played because it demands you play it, it demands you return and ferret (stoat) out its secrets.

If you're still on the fence about this game, just read the other reviews, they're not lying. It's an addictive game. A very well timed and crafted mystery that grabs your attention and holds onto it like the Fisherman and his hook.

Enjoy peeps and remember to level that Ouroboros!

I tried to like this game. It sounded cute and its comparisons to Papers, Please had caught my attention.

Sadly, it is pretty dull and boring. The idea is interesting, the conversations are alright, but it really doesn't have alot of variety. You'll be doing the same thing every in game day. Rinse and repeat with there being a little variety in what is required for you to finish the day correctly and move on.

What it doesn't give you is any leniency or ability to change your style without being punished. Fate, the death manager, tells you to kill at least 2 humans who are both engineers. Not bad, you get 4 humans to judge, kill the two engineers AND a real jerk who deserves to die. Then you get reamed out because Fate said to kill only two humans! No. .no...the paperwork clearly said at LEAST 2 humans...not ONLY 2, there is a difference...

Overall, cute premise, some of the interactions are meh, but it was just so monotonous and boring. I didn't feel any interest in proceeding through the storyline as I did in Papers, Please.

Good try, just off the mark with this game. Had the game refunded.

I was really looking forward to my family and friends being able to play this game together, but sadly this just seems to be a knock off 7 Days to Die, just way worse graphics and aLOT less fun...

The game has a steep learning curve, I had been warned about that. What I hadn't been warned about was the steep learning curve was mainly in the UI! It is not user friendly in any way and I was suddenly reminded of my WoW days when your addon UI would fight with another addon. Stuff scattered everywhere, every window needing you to hit a skip ad sized X (aka, stupid small) to close it and all the while yer trying to hide from zombies who are VERY present and VERY numerous (possibly already attacking your hidey hole WHEN you spawn in).

It wasn't a pleasant experience for any of my gaming group who I had gifted this game to. Luckily Steam refunded my game AND the gifted games. Bought everyone Ranch Sim and they're already digging it before the refunds have all been processed.

If you like an overly complicated zombie game, this game is for you. If you're looking to actually have fun in zombie games, get 7 Days to Die.

Played with friends, promptly got killed by friends then killed friends repeatedly.

10/10 making new friends in order to have more targets.

This game is so strangely relaxing and enjoyable. The art style and simple and the premise is interesting!

If you're looking for a nice simple game that moves at your pace and includes alot of little easter eggs with the customers you handle, this is the one for you.

The crowns would be the same price, but this also includes the mount and a scroll.
Crowns were received after a quick log out and login. Mount and scroll received after fully exiting and reentering the game in my mailbox. Mount was in a coffer, scroll as a scroll (obviously). No issues, no lag in delivery, no complaints!

Also, no, the mount does not glow, it is pretty, but no glow. Bummer...

The game doesn't recognize the nVidia GPU and I'm honestly not going to mess up the silky smooth performance of my other 200+ games just to get this one to crash and lag less...yes less..not stop entirely, just less.

For what little I played it, the controls are meh at best and sadly it crashed so much that I couldn't get into the story enough to want to play it farther. Also, the bloom....omg, everytime you went near ANY window (or natural light source), prepare for your screen to turn into an overly saturated attempt at a nature photo. (No way to turn it off or adjust it btw)

Pity, it had potential, but just fell flat with instabilities and mediocre controls for keyboard and mouse. I imagine playing with a controller would be more entertaining.
