Entire Save File is Gone, No Backups, Was Almost 100%

I went to continue my nearly 100% game this morning and it restarted like there was no save file?? I tried following the other guides (because it seems like this is a problem a lot of people have had?) but my save is just...completely gone. So frustrating, especially if there's further DLC launching this year I don't want to have to replay the entire game just to be ready for the DLC....

Trouble with salvaging

I had problems with salvaging and did not find too many good answers. Option 1) Change to Relax Fishing Mode Option 2) Understand that salvaging is opposite of fishing, meaning AVOID black gaps Option 3) Do all of the above

Another game I want to give a 'meh' rating. It is fun when starting and I had high hopes based on the hype and Steam rating. It is a collection of mini games that are easy and purely repetitive, and quickly turns into a simple fetch-quest game, with inventory management that is irritating, IMO. Also cannot use XBOX controller unless I unplug everything else from the PC, a known issue they can't or won't fix, which is ridiculous. This is a game I can only play in small bits when nothing else sounds good at the time. I'd say buy it on discount and limit expectations.

I can't move forward in the mangrove

When the aviator gives me the mission to look for the parts of the turret, one of the x's on the map does not appear, consequently I cannot get the part of the turret that I am missing, more specifically the cannon.

I really enjoyed playing Dredge, the gameplay loop is good fun. I really liked the vibe/story but it felt lacking, I was waiting for more to be uncovered. Unfortunately the pacing felt off, and the game was over pretty quickly.

Enjoyable, but short game which left me wanting more.
