I decided to check back on my comment thread over the last few years. It's the year 2023. Truly amazing how much has changed in my life even since the last comment in 2021. I'm no longer in the field of Education. I'm no longer a teacher. That's pretty big!

I may have lost some of my positivity and joy over the last few years and my former self was indeed worried about that happening. I hope to find my stride in my new profession and continue growing in ways I could have never imagined.

I'm 30 years old now. It's hard to imagine I was just an 18 year old when I commented for the first time on this thread. I know I'm going to look back on this comment again in the next few years.

Well, it's another few years. August of 2021. I'm actually getting quite emotional looking back on the last 5 years of my life. I have come so far. Even back then I thought at that point my life had changed so much. If only I could tell my past self what I would achieve by even this point.
