It's a very cute survival game but can be awkward to control at times, There are also bugs with items disappearing or clipping though other items. Even though the game emphasizes mining and digging, the actual digging mechanics can be a bit of a pain. The minimalistic design with symbols instead of text is also another pain, they could have provided tool tips at least. Finally, endlessly thumbing through the research catalog's symbols searching for what you need is yet another pain. Otherwise it can be very relaxing and easy-going, the progression is fun and the game pulls off the 'engineering' aspect off reasonably well. A good chunk of the game is managing a small inventory, and although the learning curve is reasonable the first hour of the game as you're getting your bearings can be rough.
