This is one of the most creative and engrossing games I have played. Every time you die the game changes. I died so many times and it never got repetitive. Its truly truly fun, especially figuring out the best desk and all the ways to tweak it. And that's just the beginning...

Really enjoyed this game and still holding out hope for a sequel. I've been disappointed with the GH time management games recently but this one felt fresh and I really enjoyed the story. The music is really good, and I liked the hidden conversation secrets. It doesn't hand everything to you. That said, the mini games are meaning less as they aren't even times so I wouldn't call this challenging, but it was definitely fun and compelling. More like this please.

This is the most rewarding and addicting game I have played in ages. It's very hard but incredibly fun.

Still my favorite game on Steam. Love the game play, love the creativity, the animations, the realism. Frustratingly hard, but rewarding when you finally beat a level on perfect. Cannot wait for CSD3!

Early Access Review
Still a bit buggy, but an enjoyable time management game. Could use a story mode to make it less repetitive. Good music and game play.

Not their best work. I feel pretty let down by this game. Gone are the good graphics, pleasant story lines, and good game mechanics. You can still upgrade food but each item only once, which is a real let down. Anything that requires grilling takes forever to complete and there are no speed increase upgrades in this game. The graphics are really terrible . I don't know, all the charm has been removed. With the push to mobile games that's where to focus is, dumb down a great series and make it for a touch screen then just plop it on PC as an after thought. Disappointing.

Even 7 years after it's release this remains my favorite game of all time. The special edition adds some nice graphical upgrades and features and I prefer it to the VR edition, which really looks awful unfortunately. If you are looking for an open ended, open world game, that is absolutely beautiful this is for you. I get lost in Skyrim every time I play.

I'm actually a bit surprised by how much I enjoy this game. I love the genre, but lately it's felt that in the rush to keep churning these out they quality of the games has suffered. The Love Boat was unplayable. But then in comes Amber and I'm having fun again! The game mechanics don't break any new ground, but they don't need to. Instead I feel like they're bringing back some things that have been lost over time. I like that when you unlock a new mini game you get a popup. I love that the achievements page is her diary, not just the same old "click a character portrait" thing. I like the story, though I do have one complaint in that department. I'm just going to say that for once it would be nice to have a game with a stong female lead (which this has) that doens't have to involve a love triangle. I don't really understand why we can't just have Amber, strong and spunky airport employess (she plays drums and has a clown fish, she isn't your everyday gal), fulfilling her dream of becoming a stewardess. There si plenty of drama there. But annoyance at forced female tropes aside, the rest of the story was fully enjoyable for me. I know who the audience is that they are going for here, and I'm sure they want a romance angle. I'll also say that I liked the way the female relationships were handled here. There was tension but also kindness, the characters weren't completely one dimensional, which is hard to do with a short game. Anyway, I recommend this game. I think this is a strong contender to stand out for Gamehouse. Give us more like this (and Hearts Medicine!) and less schlock like Love Boat.

First off this game is absolutely gorgeous. Breathtakingly beautiful. The puzzles are challenging but not enough to make you crazy. I did feel pride when I completed everything and some took a bit to muddle through, so not a walk in the park. The most facinating thing is how there is not text in the game and none is needed. Everything is communicated visually and I loved that. I highly reccommend this game for anyone who enjoys logic puzzles.

This series, and in particular this second title, bring to the table all of the qualities of the old school M&M grid based RPGs. I couldn't put the first one down and I am having even more fun with the sequal. THe puzzles are challenging, the environments lush, and the gameplay addictive. I am waiting anxiously for word of a third entry for this stellar series.
