I get the logos and then the Gorogoa title screen and then nothing happens. Any help?

I remember playing the demo to Gorogoa over 4 years ago. That demo was only for Windows, but since the game was developed in Java and included a jar, I could run the game successfully on Linux. I think you gave me that advice on Twitter when I asked about it at the time. It was a beautiful experience that was made especially striking to me given what was happening to me at the time.
