There can be good and bad said about this, but overall, I love it.

First of all, this game is extremely underrated.
On the one hand, it's short, being able to finish the entire base campaign in about 4 hours if you know what you're doing, blowing through enemies, but still grabbing collectibles along the way (they are required for your chapter rankings in this one.) For example, look at my hours played (7.3 at the time of this review) - I've played all the way through the main campaign twice in just over 7 hours... Also, you have no ability to order your team where to go, which could come in handy if you want to do a mass team heal with one First Aid Spray, and once in a blue moon, the game will glitch in a way that prevents you from continuing, and the only way to fix it is to return to the main menu and reload... or die. This game could have really used a "Restart Last Checkpoint" option. This can be pretty brutal during the Echo Six DLC, because is not started the same way as the base campaign and you cannot return to a checkpoint if you return to the Main Menu, only if you die. And no, it is pretty much impossible to kill yourself if there are no enemies present at the time of the glitch. Also your squad would probably kill them anyway. Speaking of the AI though, they do die a lot. Sometimes you just have to pick your battles and make it to the next checkpoint to get them back instead of going back and reviving them manually.

On the other hand, it's an amazing game to play with a few friends, and for being a few years old and having a bad overall reception, this game has a rather large cult following, and it actually still isn't too hard to play online. As short as it is, fans of it have no problem playing through the campaign over and over, with diferent character/ability/weapon combos without it ever getting old.
All in all, if you find that you enjoy this game, it's replay value soars sky-high. This is great, because if it had no replay value and a 4 hour campaign, this definitely would not be a positive review.
Should you decide to pick this one up, definitely get the complete pack. The Echo Six DLC is literally half the game. It has increased difficulty over the main campaign and basically raises the play time of the whole thing to 8-9 hours if you don't have to restart checkpoints, for the feeling of a more complete gaming experience.

-DLC-
They kind of screwed us on the DLC with this one. When you buy the base game, you're only getting half of what you should be paying for and MUST buy the Echo Six packs for the complete game. The weapon packs are pretty pointless, as any vet of this game will tell you they aren't even the best weapons of their type so you'll probably end up never even using them. There is also only one costume change, and it's basically just a difference of the color pallette, and it only applies to the Wolfpack, not Echo Six.
I have invested a ridiculous amount of hours into this game on PS3, and I was waiting for a sale to buy it on Steam, which almost never happens. If this game is on sale, buy the complete pack, buy it now.

All in all, this is one that you either love or hate.

A negative point that other players bring up is that it uses Games for Windows Live, but it's not really that much of a bad thing. Though some people have had issues, if everything is installed correctly, this game should work perfectly fine. Maybe they'll move it to Steam just like RE5 and Dead Rising 2 in the future.

Life is Strange is an absolutely stunning narrative that constantly shaocks and surprises around each corner.

Let it be very, very clear that this game is all about enjoying the ride. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and I still was emotional through the ending with no regrets whatsoever. The stories and reviews regarding the disappointment of this title's ending have been greatly exaggerated. If you want to be immersed in a rich, emotional story, then I urge you to buy this game and play through the entire thing. I could not think of a better way for this game to end. Now granted, I have only seen one (left) ending, but I could not imagine making the other choice would make the ending terrible. If you really don't want any chance of being disappointed, then just turn the game off at the end of the dream sequence in episode 5... but then there is absolutely no closure.

While it may be considered cheating, this is actually by far the easiest 100% achievements of any game on Steam. All of the cash was acquired with 5-10 minutes using screenshots, and then the mess was all cleaned up within 30 seconds using console commands. 10/10 would walk around for 10 minutes, type two lines into the console and scroll up and down on my mouse for a few seconds again.

Seriously though, it's a chill way to pass the time if you just want to relax and do something relatively tedious for an hour. 100% accuracy should really only be the goal for the achievements though. The game doesn't stay fun for long enough in one go to really aim for a complete clean every go-around. All in all, it's an interesting concept, and I can't really give it a thumbs down, because it's free with a game that I also would recommend. Worst case scenario, Shadow Warrior is really fun, so buy that game and give this a once over to boost your overall profile percentage by a point.

Still a unique game for the genre, and the graphics have aged rather well.
Jumping to pipes and such to climb up have to be spot on, so you will jump to your death a lot.
It is a game that you can play through by literally doing nothing but running and jumping, with no fighting or real objectives whatsoever, but the journey and story is still a lot of fun.

Edit: I bought this game because it was on sale, but have yet to play it much at all on PC. I have completed it a couple of times on PlayStation, so it deserved a review.

Great game. Far superior to it's predecessor, although I wish they had brought back side-stepping and full 3D motion from the PlayStation 2 entries. I have not experienced any of the performance issues that other reviews are talking about. It all runs great.

Pros:
+Amazing graphics.
+Great fight system. They really took a page from Injustice for this one.
+The story mode is actually pretty good. Not like the last one at all.
+The graveyard used to unlock content actually requires some exploration this time, which can be a pro or a con, depending on whether you like more depth to a game or just want to unlock more costumes already. It's a unique twist to the previous entries.

Cons:
-Not enough characters. They added way too many new characters while scrapping a lot of classic ones. You even fight against a few characters in story mode that aren't available to play as, which makes no sense. They obiovusly are fully built characters so why not have them playable? This includes Sindel, Baraka, Rain, and possibly one other. The fact that Noob, Smoke, Sektor, and Cyrax are missing from this one really bummed me out.
-Some graphics are a bit unrealistic, namely the perfect beads of sweat on characters' skin. Sweat doesn't work that way, what is this?

Overall 8/10

I like it. I think it's a great game, but I can't help but feel that this game would have gotten better reviews if it didn't have so much hype before release.

Pros:
-Fantastic graphics.
-Interesting style of gameplay and espionage.
-Gunplay isn't too bad.

Cons:
-The story is a little dull and doesn't make you want to really care for the characters.
-The Driving mechanics are a little stiff, and the police are nearly impossible to evade.
=The online system, while innovative, can be extremely irritating when trying to complete objectives, so it's sometimes best to turn it off. I enjoyed it at first, but then other players trying to hack me right as I'm trying to start a story mission started to piss me off. You can't kick them or start any other missions while this is going on, so you are forced to chase them down. If this feature could not be disabled completely, then that may have been enough to make me stop playing.

You Need A Budget taught me not to spend money short-sightedly on things that I will never use. Things like You Need A Budget. 10/10

I have now completed the game and have done a great portion of the side missions, and I have yet to encounter a single performance issue.I still don't know what everyone's deal is.
Computer specs: i7 3820 @ 3.8 Ghz, 16gb ram, single gtx 970 sc acx2.0

Now,
Pros:
-Same great Arkham game with a few minor improvements; a great addition to the franchise.
-Driving mechanics are smooth. The easy transition into tank mode makes for a 360 degree turn radius and very easy maneuverability.
-Graphics are nice.
-Even though I wasn't a big fan of the previous games, this one has kept my attention all the way through.
-The ending... wow.

Cons:
-Rather high system requirements, but nothing for my system, really.
-I would say that it needs updates and whatnot badly like everyone else, but I have not run into a single bug, glitch, or crash whatsoever. It runs perfectly for me, always has, but you may want to wait on this one.

Although this game has been quite poorly optimized, it has had a few patches since it's release and I am hoping for more. I was really excited to get at this game, since never will I purchase an Xbox game console. I simply refuse. PC Master Race (and PlayStation for the exclusives that will never come to PC of course.) Anyway, I am getting off-topic. I feel that if some of the other people reviewing this game were big fans of the previous games and not just playing this because it's new, they would have given it a chance and not been so negative so fast just because of a few crashing issues. Having said that, I have given a negative review on a game simply for it not having controller support.

There are many, many, many more combo weapons than the previous games, tons more zombies to evicerate, and a fun time had by all. The story is also pretty decent. I feel like 2 is still my favorite installment though. I did also find the so-called "challenges" represented by starts on the map to be ridiculously simple. You are also given way too much time to complete the story and I do miss the old format in which there is a time limit between each mission and not for the game as a whole. In the previous games, you could run out of time before making it to your next mission, where-as in this one, you don't run out of time until the entire 3 days have run their course. It takes a lot of the challenge out of the game (although the Nightmare Mode may fix this.)

I am a big fan of the new co-op system, particularly being able to explore the entirety of the map away from your partner, instead of having to wait for a slow person to be standing right next to you at the next objective. The other player does have to hit a key to join you if you are trying to move to another location though, so if they are afk then you are sol.

Overall, this is a great game that just had a really terrible launch, causing a lot of mixed reviews and anger among non-fans. Enough patches have been released now that you should defintely add this one to your library. You just may have to tinker with the visual settings, but the game will look beautiful regardless. Pro tip: Zombie quality, shadow quailty, and resolution make a big defference to performance and if you set the former to medium, they still all really look the same, but there are so many that it really halps maintain the framerate. Full HD is always nice, but if you have a lower end graphics card then 720p isn't so bad. If you have a lot of problems with your rig also, just put the preset to high. It is identical to the Xbox One version so you really aren't missing out on a whole lot.
