The best Mortal Kombat still. For me, one of the best fighting games.

Alas, the multiplayer - the sole reason to play the game solo - is dead. Only scum from Muscovia play the game. Now they are the main player base online for sure. Almost no player outside the state 404 plays this game. If you try to find an online player in EU to play against - make no mistake - you are going to get paired with an abomination from swamps.

You can't restrict or forbid the game to match against these repulsive ghouls. You can't permanently decline a match to a player for them to not even appear during the matchmaking. There are no new players mostly. There are no mid-level players in the game like myself anymore. I stopped enjoying this game online a long time ago.

Unless you regularly play or want to play this game with evenly skilled friends, I just wouldn't bother despite all the obvious pros of the game. Buying and playing against the bots would be a dumb move. With the game's matchmaking shoving orcs down a player's throat, make yourself a favor and pirate this, I see this is as an absolutely justified way to play it now with no support of the game at all.
