Bring fighting styles from monster hunter generations x and double-cross. That would make this game absolutely legendary. If you did that this game would be the defacto best monster hunter game every made. It's a solid game don't get me wrong. But without the variety of different fighting styles and ways to play it just doesn't feel as good. In fact it just feels like a step backward in character customization and replayability. The graphics and smoothness of the game are better than they ever been. BUT I don't feel that makes up for the loss of such amazing options of play. Still a good game. But I think im pretty well done with it until something like that comes back it just doesn't feel as good.

I've truly fallen in love with this game. It's a happy marriage of Gothic and Dark Souls that I just can't get enough of. I haven't even started the main quest-line there is so much to do. Though the main complaints I have with the game are the glitches that occur more often than not. The glitches occur mostly in multiplayer but still not an excuse when you advertised it as coop. Though the glitches are minor enough for me to look past. This game has so much potential and I dearly hope that it gets DLC or mod support even. Outward has such a wonderful charm to it. I mean I never bother to write reviews but I feel that this is my duty to this company and this grand little gem of a game to advocate that yes on the surface it is rough but its core is so excellent and fun. It has been so long since I have enjoyed a REAL RPG with such depth and freedom. Honestly not since Morrowind have I had this much fun. Its games like this that give me hope that one day we will see game companies dropping more outlandish and old school games with a new spin and finish to them. If you enjoy games the way they used to be this game will be a refreshing change. 10/10 This game is gonna be in my family for generations. This will be referred to as a hidden gem or a masterpiece in the future.
