I'm probably not the best person to review this because this was the first strategy game I ever played. So I got huge rose tinted glasses. On the other hand it is my duty to spread the word of one of the best Star Wars games ever made.

Even after all these years it gets patched by the original developers. And with every patch they release the game becomes more stable for mods, which I can't say for some games these days. So go delve into the relatively casual (but still solid) base game. Or delve into its amazing mod catalog! I especially want to recommend Thrawn's Revenge, set in the post original trilogy Lucas era canon.

Playing this again has brought back so many memories. And I am off to make some new ones!
