I own a Battle-Axe for home defense, since that's what the Seven Fathers intended. Four goblins break into my mountain. "Morgoth's spawn!" As i grab my wargear. Split the first one's skull in twine, he's dead on the spot. toss my throwing axe at the second one, miss him entirely because it's got a round shaft and nails the neighbors goat. I have to resort to the ballista mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with twirly whirly's, "Khazâd Ai-Mênu lads" the twirly whirly's shreds two goblins in there flight, and goes past the warning bells setting them off. Strap on shield and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the guards to arrive since triangular shield spike wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the Seven Fathers intended.
