its a decent game not that good not that bad somewhere Inbetween.
with some awful fight mechanics almost made me want to smash my controller
I Played on medium difficulty samurai level 90% of the game until a mini boss fight where there was no chance of shopping for health bar items, had to tone down the difficulty to jack level, it was so frustrating I just finish the game and uninstall it a that point.
I had spent 1hr 50 mins trying to finish the mini boss battle before the main boss battle all because there was no shop for items any where near that specific level.(samurai difficulty)
it took me barely 15 mins or less for the main boss battle all because there was a shop after the mini boss battle.(jack difficulty)

There were very few times where i was able achieve any combo fighting, the whole time I would have to either be dodging and then some slash but never get a combo cause someone in the back is shooting at you with rocket launcher, or just interrupting or jumping you even though you have a block on. I was constantly buying HP items and range weapon items the whole game and I was barely able to upgrade any of my iweapons or learn a new skill.
There were places I wanted to explore but you don't have the map or any guide and sometimes if you miss some caves, doors or tunnel pathway where some treasure might be there or mini boss fights, you won't get a second chance to go back once you pass a certain point of the stage, once you miss a door its gone forever you will have to finish the whole game and then you get to manually select a stage and explore what you might have missed out on the first run.
They tried to imitate batman fighting style
there are so many games batman arkham series
where fight mechanics are super
this game made me so frustrated, its no where near those games in terms of combat.
I bought this game cause I'm a fan of the series
some scenes are very well done
some stages are fun.
its just braindead hack and slash whole game nothing new to table
no puzzles to solve or anything like that.
this game could have been so much more if it was open world
and if there were some interesting side quests.
I would give 3.5/5

very linear gameplay
not an open world to explore but its a very neo futurist, deus ex style environment
limited moves in combat system with 5 special moves which you can trigger after meeting certain threshold of hit moves and those special moves are unlocked, but you can only use two special moves at a time after that you have to refill the special move meter its not complicated but it makes you work to get there.
Combo system is easy with a controller since i used keyboard and mouse it was kind of stressing.
They tried to imitate batman Arkham series (2009-2015) style fight system
and its quite similar but with a little twist even though this game was made in 2013 and its story and some gameplay mechanics where you can change something in the past memory of a character is really Interesting.

story went over my head since I didn't read the comics
the cut-scenes were kind of weird
who can blame them its 2013 game and I'm playing it in 2020
still outdated graphics even for a 2013 game
the combat is fun
played one ranked match online
going to play injustice 2 now lets see if there is any improvements

very nice linear story-based game
very good storytelling
lot of walking and running around

combat was okay, some fights were tough
some were like meh!
repetitive combat with same enemies over and over again
once you reach far in the deeps
but its all forgiven because of feels and chills in the game
only boss fights were okay

innovative puzzles in this game
some were easy
some were confusing ,
there were 2 such puzzles which I failed to solve by myself
I was going around in circles for close to 45 mins couldn't figure it out
and gave up, looked it up on Youtube :D moved forward

its a fun ride starts slow and
then picks up with more and more momentum as
you reach the finish line
i would give this game a 5/5
but the combat made me -1
so 4/5
can't wait to play Senua's saga hellblade 2
when it releases I'll buy it
and play it after 2 years just like I did with this one
I bought this game in 2017 finished it in 2020 (covid lockdown) days
have fun with this one

This game is a must during covid pandemic
a little shorter than the first metro
but a good game with nice story telling
lot of topless strippers,

very similar pandemic scenario in the underground tunnels
people with gas masks and quarantine facilities.


next on my list is metro exodus, HF

Fallout meets half life

There is a bug in chapter 7 where miller doesn't move from the room and there is a mutant who instakills you on the same spot :(.
either you have to let him finish the dialogue or restart the chapter
I was about to uninstall it but found out the solution via steam community
finally finished it was almost like half life finish.
I ran this game on AMD Rx580
I dunno if this bug is there on nvidia gpu owners since this game advertises nvidia in the beginning of the intro......its a good game.
Redux version makes it worth playing in 2020 quarantine certified :D
