I finished the story I have no time to play this game again to unlock dante and others special abilities
back in the day in older MDC games you could unlock most abilities in first playthrough.

played this game on hard mode back when it was released but never finished it after so many years I bought this game on sale and finished it and regretted not finishing the game then.

the campaign was short unlike the first game
but it was fun.

Played it 3 times just to get the happy ending and extra stuff in my case.

but you have to play it twice to unlock different dialogues, scenes and levels.

you won't get bored, its got dark and toilet humour.

you will love it

THIS IS WHAT RACING GAME IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE
HYPER AGGRESSIVE (A i)
CAN'T RACE PEACEFULLY ANYWHERE
night time cops see your car they start chasing for no reason, even when your not racing,
like your fugitive the moment you hit the pedal
drive a fancy sports car get arrested.
The enemy cars are way too fast, that in order to compete with them you have to ignore the traffic and bulldoze any car or truck to victory.
some of the on road traffic literally spawns just few meters away from your car or it deliberately slows down .
if you end up on side of the road and car literally is running at 18 mph or less takes forever to comeback on track.
cop car hits you two times or three just even a scratch and your car health bar goes to zero immediately arrested.
And also your money goes to zero whenever you get caught , so now you have to replay same races again during day time to unlock the fancy cars.

want to race drift event go to garage manually change the system get back on track race again
change the system again for normal events again absolute ANNOYANCE

this has been the worst NFS game I have ever played
I have been playing NFS games since 1999, I have even played old NFS 2,
but this game has been by far the absolute worst.

I played this game back in 2011 (pirated) and never finished it I was few chapters behind almost to the finish but completely forgot abt it, Bought the game on steam 5 or 6 years ago on sale,
Again did the same thing didn't play it at all.
game is sitting in the library
finally I decided to give it a go
played it for a few hours reached the last few chapters got stuck, Then I went on Youtube
had no choice those last few levels are a bit impossible to figure out without a guide trust me there is no hint in this game.
Finally finished the Game felt good end of story
I give it 4 stars out of 5 anyways.

its been 8 years since its launch running fine on my RX6600

story is great
Game play is fine for the first 2 episodes
then it get stale in the last 3 episodes
same enemies repeat till the end not much variety in terms of guns
lot of enemies swarming you if you play it on hard difficulty
always there is one or two coming from behind who will instantly kill you in two hits not much flexibility in movement and turn rate.
it gets frustrating
but its not end of the world
play for the story
uninstall and relax.
