The 2.0 version of this game is fantastic. If you have hardware to max settings including path tracing, it's amazing eye-candy on top of everything else.

Check it out.

Worst performance I have seen in a modern title, stuttering, crashes, animation glitches... Pretty meh.

Pretty good overall, especially in gameplay. Story-wise it's not amazing, but is serviceable. I think Aiden as a main character is rather boring and uninspiring, but the characters you interact with are pretty well acted and feel alive, which helps.

If you liked DL1, you will like this I think. It's definitely in the 7/10 range for those who aren't die-hard.

As a person who hasn't bothered much with Remedy games, but is familiar with their lineup I have to say this game is good enough that, I may reconsider trying their older games.Control feels like a blend of Quantum Break (70%) with Alan Wake (30%) of weird-action / spoopy atmosphere.Beautiful visuals and physics, smooth and decent gameplay loop, engaging and weird story. Get it.

I bought this game on PS4 originally when it came out, and had a great time playing it. Since then, Sony has shifted focus to putting their original exclusive titles on PC after launch.

This game in particular has had a bumpy start with hardware compatibility issues, however it's worth noting that they have patched 4 times already since launch, and the game is more stable and better performing each time.

On my particular hardware setup, the game runs very smoothly. I have a relatively high end PC (9900k, 2070 S) but my friend who uses this game from my library (Yay steam sharing on this game!) has a lower end but very common PC (Some I7, GTX 1660) and it also runs great on his machine post updates! So for anyone who was worrying if the hardware was in the way, I think it's very safe to say most rigs now should be able to run without crashing or severe performance issues!

And outside of hardware, the game is a gem for the start of a series. It definitely has it's own issues, cheese dialogue, weird hand made facial animations (no mocap for realism) kind of gives it an uncanny valley feeling. These were just some of the issues with this being an original title and the developers only having so much time and budget.

But the gameplay is fantastic, killing and hunting giant robots is a blast regardless. They keep getting stronger, but so do you. And the main story is an interesting engagement with the idea of radicalized corporatism, letting companies and their technologies evolve to a point of no return. That idea isn't new on its own; however the way it's explored in Horizon: Zero Dawn is entirely unique. Worth a shot at any price, for open world lovers looking for a cool series to get involved in.

Happy hunting.

Destiny 2 is a great game to sink hours into. I avoided the original because I frankly, never cared much for Halo outside the first title. I was playing other things when subsequent Halo's released, and I never loved Master Chief the way some people did/do.

Destiny is it's own thing though. The guns feel better than in most other games, movement is good, unique classes feel interesting. And of course, everything in this game is absolutely beautiful. Even as the game ages, the raw art they use in this game remains top notch. If you want a shooter with memorable guns that you love hunting for, and some super powers wrapped up in a decent little Sci-fantasy story, this is the place to go.

Overall if you liked Deus Ex: Human Revolution there is alot to like here. This is not a massive breakthrough of the last game, but a reasonable evolution that offers players lots of choice and free will.

Performance is fine, if you don't insist on pushing graphical limits relative to your hardware. I have a Titan and even my game is sluggish if I have AA up to 8x and such, so make some adjustments and it should run for you.

Also the microtransactions are not really a problem. If you wish to never use them, so be it, never use them. Since the game is NOT multiplayer competitive it means little that they give you the option to buy credits and augments. If you are high on money and short on time, that might be a good choice for you. Otherwise, earn everything in game for free!

10/10 would look at Jensens naked robot butt again.

Tons of audio issues, even after reinstalling audio drivers, reinstalling game from scratch 3 times, game still likes to kill all audio almost immediately.

Poorly programmed, PC buyer beware of this potential.

To not get long winded, this game is trying too hard to force itself to feel like the show with dramatic turns every few moments.

Unfortunately, you're stuck between bad choice A, and awful choice B, and almost every one in the entire game until the end feels that way. By the end of it, you feel like you've actually lost everything because you mostly have, with little to hold onto that leaves you feeling proud of the journey or happy with its outcomes.

Recommended for masochists, emotionless Lannisters, and Stark haterz.

P.S. when is winter finally going to get here?

Game definitely has stuttering issues, which is unfortunate.

Trying to look past that point, this is a really solid and fun game once you get into the meat of it. Really hope they patch frame issues shortly, but if that sort of thing doesn't ruin your experience in a game, this is a title worth checking out IMO
