Really enjoyable! This game blends essentially in my mind, Techlands former game Dead Island with Mirror's Edge. Hardcore parkour!!! During the day, you're a silent predator, preying upon the weakness that is the atypical zombie in the modern 2010s, drooling all over oneself, searching aimlessly for ones own missing limbs, the usual... By night, psychotic uber zombies doing their best to penetrate zombie stereotypes of the 21st century do their best to chase and scare with the speed of what I can only describe as, a cheetah... Definitely humbling when you make the mistake of letting a couple of them get on your trail, at least in the early game!

Overall, the game has some minor bugs and flaws... Bugs I experienced was an audio glitch when the multiplayer VoIP was turned on, and one crash after 12 hrs of gameplay. Not too shabby in that dept.

You'll notice the story line, some voice acting, and in general some mission dialogue is a bit wonky and just... Meh. But it isn't too bad. If you have played Dead Island, you have some idea of what to expect. It isn't a wide departure from that game as far as story progression and immersion elements go, but that isn't what it's here to do.

Overall, its a great exercise in FUN gameplay mechanics built around a day/night zombie idea that just seems to work pretty well. Overall, I rate the game well, and encourage people who enjoy a B movie take on zombies with grade A fun in gameplay to give it a shot!

4/5 zombies recommend this.

Watch_Dogs makes for a thrilling experience. Beautiful visuals mark a fairly sizable landscape offering a lot of opportunities. For the initiated, you could refer to the elements of this game being added components equal GTA, Splinter Cell, and Assassin's Creed depending on your viewing angle. The game does a great job of combining these ideas and bringing them an amazing amount of next gen life and immersion.

Upgrading your abilities as you go, you'll in no time be hacking the personal information of everyone around you, controlling data and feeling like a cyber-God. Voice acting is pretty solid through the title, with very few "brotherly embarrassment," issues when corny lines are delivered by actors clearly uninterested or unknowing of their lines true feeling or intention. Really top notch work there.

The only real warning and downside to this game would be as follows... As of the time of this writing 5/27/14 the game is quite unoptimized for ultra textures. Running on a 6-core with a GTX 680 even on low settings are currently resulting in significant lag and stutter, specifically during racing/driving segments which can be excessively frustrating. The texture setting can be adjusted in the Display settings when the game is in the main menu (not pausing while in game, the option disappears at that point)

Otherwise, an easy to recommend title for any hardcore enthusiast looking for a new modern wizard IP from Ubisoft!

Awesome remake, they really did a great job making the game feel like the show used to. Great for anyone nostalgic for Duck Tales, or just interested in a light hearted platformer with some reasonable difficulty curves on Hard (for the more hardcore platformers)

Great game. Deep lore, interesting characters, cool monsters and beautiful locations... Temeria never felt so massive. Even without having experienced the first game, or any of the books, I was able to get past my initial confusion by the end of the first act, and was as deeply invested in the cast as if I had been there for the entire ride.

Recommend for fans of RPGs with deep action based combat, who also love amazing lore and beautiful settings in high fantasy.

An otherwise decent idea for a game executed quite poorly. AI that sometimes doesn't do what it's meant to (an objective is being watched, you fail if you are seen, and they won't walk away as designed consistently etc) I've also experienced numerous technical glitches like crashes and audio freezing entirely for no reason that simply requires additional restarts. The voice acting is unfortunately as bad as the actual written lines are. There are words that are misused entirely in fact... Makes listening to it difficult and worse paying attention to the characters and story difficult.

The other problem with the narrative is this game right off the bat relies on the "Sorry Mario, the Princess is in another castle," line that I was tired of by the 3rd game of that same series. At least Mario is endearing... This is just tough.

On the bright side, the powers are cool ideas and work relatively effectively when everything is going smoothly. The leveling system is basically what you find in Deus Ex: HR in so you earn experience to get points which are spent in a square grid tree of upgrades. There are 3 trees, but only 1 has more than 4 basic abilities in it. Each does have numerous upgrades though which aid in the ease of gameplay significantly. This is helpful because, this game is actually quite challenging. Early on you are offered little strengths against the massive waves of enemies you face, making it easy to be seen and get killed. Over time, overcoming the obstacles becomes much easier in general, however the game at times likes to strip away the strength you have gained in favor of rechallenging you.

All in all due to the series of bugs, poor dialogue and story, and gameplay that only works sometimes, I wouldn't really recommend DARK to anyone but the most intrepid of collectors of vampire based stealth/action genre.

Great game. Most fun I have had pretending to pirate since Sid Meier took a shot at it in the 90s. Largely addictive, great voice acting for the series, and dialogue that isn't painful to listen to on its own as well. This game could have a real shot as THE redefining moment for a series that has otherwise been largely stagnant. Unfortunately alot of those stagnations still exist here, repeated follow/eavesdrop missions for instance. All in all though this is easily what I would consider the BEST of the entire AC series since the first 2 games. Hope this is the start of a trend in making these more engaging and different/unique with each setting and iteration that follows.

Check it out if you're ready to hit the open seas with your own brig, exploring the beautiful environments of the West Indies.

Great immersion and atmosphere, and a companion character you don't hate.
