Fantastic game. It's worth playing for the story.

A short, sweet story. About 1 to 2 hours long. Just be aware there is no dialogue, but with the way the story is presented, I don't think dialogue was needed.

Solid game. It has great graphics, the best combat out of all of the arkham games and an interesting storyline. Traveling around the map was enjoyable. I was a bit disappointed with the boss battles, but they weren't too bad. I didn't really play the challenge mode so I cannot comment on that.

I recommend picking up the premium edition, mainly for the Season of Infamy and A Matter of Family dlcs. The other dlcs that are included are a nice bonus.

Pros

• Fantastic story, filled with many different choices that can affect your next encounter or even the ending
  
• You can upgrade your camp and explore the world to upgrade your deck
  
• If you play multiplayer Gwent, you can get a lot of rewards for it, including premium cards, border, avatars, titles and reward points
  
• A lot of the side quests have interesting storylines and have multiple choices that can affect the outcome
  
• Puzzle battles are fun to solve
  
• Solid art style and presentation

Cons

• The starting run speed on the world map felt sluggish, but it felt okay after upgrading it in the camp
  
• Effects can be quite extreme compared to the multiplayer version of Gwent, for both you and the enemies. For example, the enemy can more than 5 copies of the same card and summon them every turn if they still have copies in their deck or they can draw cards with their leader ability. Your deck, depending on what cards you have, can summon multiple cards from your deck and can set enemy rows on fire, causing significant damage to them every turn.

Comments
I recommend the game for the storyline alone. A significant amount of the choices I made mattered and it affected a future event, the reward I received or even the ending. I also recommend the game if you play multiplayer Gwent for the rewards. While I enjoyed the puzzle battles, I did not enjoy the regular Gwent battles since it felt swingy. Quite a few effects would be going off on both sides and it felt tedious after a while.

Pros

• Big world to explore with plenty of activities to participate in
  
• Main storyline is decent and some of the side quests have enjoyable stories
  
• Combat is pretty fun, especially since you can customize your abilities
  
• Gear to loot, allowing you to customize your build
  
• Great graphics, some areas are beautiful to look at
  
• Naval battles are pretty cool, especially since you can have four lieutenants and customize your ship
  
• The three maps in the Fate of Atlantis DLC introduce new environmental types and has some neat content
  
• The random missions are endless, providing a reliable source of XP/money/resources
  
• Conquest battles were fun to participate in
  
• Mercenary system provides some nice bonuses as you progress
  
• Cultist system gives you targets to find and assassinate
  
• Exploration mode pushes you to explore more
  
• Choice of playing as Kassandra or Alexios. I played as Kassandra and her voice acting was solid.

Cons

• Though there are plenty of activities, the variety of activities is somewhat low, leading to repetition
  
• Most of the areas outside of a couple of cities were not memorable in the base game
  
• A lot of the areas look similar in the base game (might be how Greek was back then, but I'm not sure)
  
• Due to level scaling, enemies can eventually feel tanky (You can slightly adjust the leveling scaling and reduce the difficulty level, but you can't turn off level scaling completely)
  
• You must spec for assassinations to one shot most people (I did and I was able to one shot assassinate almost everyone by the end of the game)
  
• Legacy of the First Blade started off strong, but then got worse afterwards (I don't think it's a bad DLC, but it could have been better)
  
• There is an in-game microtransaction store that sell various things, including cosmetics and boosters. (Note: I did not feel like I had to buy anything from the store and did not buy anything from it, but I did do almost all of the side content)
  
• Conquest battles did not have any lasting effects. You can switch between supporting Athens and Sparta without any real consequences (This did not bother me, but it might be a negative point for someone)
  
• A few of the animal bosses were a pain to fight against (mainly the giant boar)
  
• Ship combat felt limited, though it might be due to the time period

Comments
While I did overall enjoy the game, I did take multiple breaks and played it over the span of about 7 months. I was trying to get all of the achievements and clear every location though, which definitely contributed to the repetitiveness. It was fun to explore the world, complete quests and level up, and though enemies eventually became more tanky, I was able to find ways around it and make combat enjoyable again.

• Story is not really interesting (Note: I did not complete the story so maybe it gets better)
  
• Planets start getting samey more quickly than I thought they would, though new planets with better variety have been added to address this problem
  
• UI can be a bit cumbersome to go through (Seems like they are slowly fixing this though)
  
• Animal and plant variety could be better
  
• Only three types of sentinels

Comments
I enjoyed my time with the game and I recommend it if you like exploring and building bases. However, the exploration, variety, including lifeforms and biomes, definitely could be improved. I hope the next big update addresses this.

Pros

• Parkour system makes traveling versatile and fun

• You can play with your friends since there's a co-op mode
  
• Killing zombies is satisfying
  
• You feel your character grow more powerful as you unlock more abilities
  
• Night chases can get your adrenaline pumping

• You get locked into place if a biter does their lunging animation to bite you (more of a problem early on)
  
• Virals can get a bit annoying at times
  
• (Potential non-story spoilers) Old town, while still pretty cool, wasn't as interesting as the Slums for me
  
• Disappointing final boss fight (The fight is a QTE event)

Comments
Overall, I highly recommend Dying Light, especially Dying Light: Enhanced Edition since it comes with The Following dlc. I didn't have any big issues with the game and I had a great time with it.

Overall, I would recommend this game to someone who hasn't played any other Tales of games. If you have played other Tales of games (like me), I would give this one a cautious recommendation.

This is a really awesome game. The graphics look great and the main story is pretty interesting. However, some of side stories, including the dlcs, were more interesting than the main story. The world is pretty big and there's a lot to explore. The weakest part of the game, in my opinion, is the combat. I feel like it could have been better. Regardless, the combat was still pretty good. Overall, I highly recommend buying this game, especially the game of the year edition. The two expanions you get with it are worth the price.

This is the only game in which I played the demo for more than two hours. Since it goes on sale for a very low price with its dlc, this is an easy recommendation. I had a lot of fun. (I originally played it on the xbox 360 about 8 years ago).
