Yeah. It's Borderlands. What else do you need to know?

no. It's poorly designed. Bosses are idiotic tanks for no reason. Thinks they are Dark Souls or someshit. Unload 3 mags on a level boss in a proving ground and it does no damage so I am supposed to go respect and scrap weapons to make something with fire damage. Screw this game. juice not worth the squeeze. not at all. don't buy.

It's good. I enjoyed it. I mean it's a linear QTE horror game but its really well done.

Okay I finished the game mostly on solo but in the end with some help from some random players.

I can recommend it for folks wanting to play co-op. If you have discord or some other team chat app, it would probably be a lot of fun.

However, as a solo experience, it lacks... a lot.

The worlds are beautiful, the gun-play is smooth and consistent. Not much of a story nor are there any real characters to interact with aside from a couple vendors.

The randomized generation of the maps is fine, increases repeatability I suppose, so you never really know who or what will be waiting for you at the end of the dungeon.

The trouble is leveling. In other words, if you are playing solo, don't because all you are doing is increasing the difficulty level of the worlds and their bosses. Can make for a very unpleasant experience for first time players like I was.

In the end I had a trait level of 121 and a gear level of 20 which is as high as it goes I think and so, not knowing really how to play the game, I got treated to super hard level fights over and over again.

I soloed the game mostly with some help towards the end on 3 of the bosses including The Dreamer and for the most part it was a rewarding play-thru.

A friend gave me this game, JD777, and I enjoyed it. So yeah, if you solo it, don't upgrade ♥♥♥♥ and if you want a fun romp thru a number of well made worlds, then I can recommend it.

Day 62 Bleak Inlet:
Big Moosie attacked out of the mist 10 feet from me. Stomped me three times but I had good clothes (wolf coat) so I lived and chased him and shot him 4 times. B
Big Moosie disappeared when Aurora started.
Day 65 Bleak Inlet
With broken ribs I went back to find Big Moosie.
As soon as I found him, clear day, Wolf Pack spawns behind me and attacks.
I deal with them and survive and turn to Big Moosie
I get 3 rifle rounds into him, dropping him to one knee, he takes off, I chase after walking
I get 3 pistol rounds into him he takes off and I follow with only Flair Gun left with ammo
SUDDENLY out of nowhere... Cat 2 whiteout blizzard hits and I can see nothing
Big Moosie found spawned up on a rock waiting to jump me.
I raised Flair Gun and caught him in head.
Brig Moosie runs with flair stuck in his horns.
I follow him directly, he turns, charges, I line up last Flair Gun shot to take him out
SUDDENLY out of nowhere.... thin ice warning pops up and IMMEDIATELY I crash thru ice.
Everything goes black and Big Moosie escapes into the White Out
I walk trying to find shelter in WHITE OUT Cat 2 when I find I have a STIM injector.
Take STIM injector, goes black for a second, some life restored to health bar...
SUDDENLY out of nowhere... Cat 2 WHITE OUT becomes CAT 10 HURRICANE WHITE OUT and I die instantly.
And I got the video to prove all of this.
Some serious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to get me killed don't you think?
If the devs think this kind of obvious stacking of the game elements against it's players make em want to keep playing, guess again.
Congrats devs. your game rigging finally killed me. as it did my appreciation for your game.
I was laughing and having fun when being stomped by Big Moosie and it was shaping up to be an exciting battle at the end. But then you had to rig it so you could keep proudly saying '100% of our players have died'
I said then... 'this is great. that's ok. spawn the moose right in front of me. that's a game. that's alright. just don't do some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weather or rigging ♥♥♥♥ to kill me'
and that is exactly what you did 3 in game days late.

Great remake of one hell of a game

70 hours in it glitched on some stupid convo with Sarah and RUINED MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME!!!!

♥♥♥♥ yeah. it's fun

It's an indy game. It has it's issues. I finished it in 11 hours, 21 of 27 achievements and I enjoyed it. It's a little quirky, a little preachy and the whole thing of a female protagonist fighting with her emotions is a little... yeah. But in the end it's complete, no major glitches, didn't have to restart and no one screaming 'the message' in my face every 10 minutes and so by those standards it beats the hell out of 60% of the AAA games released this year. Enjoyable. Good looking. Ran smooth for me. At the indy price, its worth it.
