After getting into BG1 this past year for the first time ever, and my first entry to boot.. This expansion takes nearly everything that made the OG good and just muddled it.

They added way too much to the map NPC wise and didn't help improve pathfinding, so even basic traversing is annoying now. Encounters are.. very meh.

The worse part? The writing is absolutely god awful, like a weird, sad fanfic of people who ironically have no idea who the original characters are.

I can't bring myself to bother with this expansion anymore after a few hours. It's that bad compared to the OG.

Enigma DRM broke game. lol. Those who don't know, Capcom is going around adding anti modding DRM to games, even visual novels.

In doing so, it will literally kill the multiplayer aspect of a few titles, as mods make them function well.

Enigma DRM will kill this and make a multiplayer game not have working multiplayer. Way to go, Capcom!

Fun, short little mod.

Forest looks pretty. Plays just like Half Life. Doesn't deviate with something different, just uses what works. Few changes to some weapons and a fun new rifle I enjoyed.

Only gripes I have is..
voice acting on some is bad, and quality of mics seem to vary a lot.

Few ladders and air lift section are glitchy, can bounce around easily.

Music.. make the music stop after a while and stop it at moments of talking? Personal issues but having the constant high energy music in some spots didn't fit the mood/what was going on to me, mainly near the end. Music is decent though itself.

Main characters voice seems very loud compared to everything else.

Overall, enjoyable, well put together mod.
