An absolutely amazing experience. Progression from defeating the bosses is a nice mechanic. Some bosses can be frustrating (Looking at you Octavian!), but once you do defeat them it feels incredibly satisfying. The soundtrack is one of my favorites (Looking at you Castle Theme and Farbane Nights!) and every zone feels unique.

UPDATE 2024: With the addition of Mortium and Dracula, this has easily turned into my favorite game of 2024. The new bosses and new enemies feel unique and powerful. The new biome feels eerie, and immersive. Defeating Dracula himself takes practice, but feels insanely satisfying once you do. Simon Belmont is easily up there with Dracula as one of the most fun bosses in the game. With yet another update being planned in 2025, this game just keeps on delivering. Highly recommended.

UPDATE 2025: With the addition of Oakveil, this game just gets even MORE addicting! I hope development continues! The new changes make the game more satisfying, and I love the new bosses and treasury flooring!

I also would like to discuss the recent complaints about having to start anew. This game is designed for you to play through more than once. If they didn't do wipes, you could finish the new content in an hour or 2 since you are at max level. They also disperse the changes THROUGHOUT the game, a fresh save allows you to experience this. The last update came out a YEAR AGO, you have had PLENTY of time to complete the game! These feel like unwarranted attacks on the devs, that I hope do not impact the future development of this amazing game!
