I have so much love for XCOM. I grew up with the original games, which I thought were brilliant back in the day, but they absolutely do not compare to these new ones. The modern XCOM games are pretty insane. I fully recommend.

I hope the next DLC, or the next game, is similar to Terror From The Deep. It defintiely needs to happen.

Seems janky.

- Planet Coaster always slows down to a crawl anytime my parks grow in size ... using maybe half the map ... and I run on medium to low settings just so performance lasts longer. I totally squash recommended specs, by the way!! So forget building your ultimate fantasy park or something in great size like Disneyland.

***UPDATE: Turning off V-sync in-game made a difference in performance. I gained some frames by doing so. If you have an Nvidia card, you might still be able to use V-sync, just turn it on in your card's control panel instead.***

- The game seems a bit buggy. Such as visitors & pricing. Visitors get stuck or lost. Rides or service entrances can get "lost." Which is something you really want in a park simulator, right? Some built-in scenarios do weird things and give challenges but I'm definitely not talking about that.

- Camera is very difficult to control. I have 138 hours clocked right now and I still struggle with it sometimes.

- Path building could be way better.

- Too much DLC.

I could probably go on with problems ... but why the recommendation then? 1) There aren't many modern theme park builders or coaster games 2) The graphics are neat-o 3) Hits a nostalgia note 4) Can be a fun time waster. If a better theme park builder comes out then obviously go for that instead. We all deserve one.

Sublime experience.

No bugs. No bull. No real complaints. Artwork, sound, flow ... all A+ ...

LoG2 is very reminiscent of classic old dungeon crawlers but with modern twists & technology. I loved every minute. I really really really wish they made a third Legend!! I don't know why Almost Human isn't but they should get right on that.

Criticisms?? Not really! All seem superficial. Some puzzles were annoying, super vague, or just plain difficult. Hard Mode is more like "nightmare mode." Perhaps some friendly or neutral NPC's would've spiced things up a bit? More spells?

This is also my first Steam "Perfect Game." Woohoo.

Since Magic 2015 - Duels of the Planeswalkers is no longer available for sale on Steam ... some achievements can no longer be acquired ... therefor I can never ever reach 100% completion. My profile average is forever tainted by this piece of crap. Such a joke!

Multiplayer might as well be gone too.

Thanks, WIzards of the Coast, for ♥♥♥♥♥♥' my ♥♥♥♥.

It can be a fun city builder ... until you realize that all DLC achievements in this game count toward your Steam average even if you don't own the DLC ... which they want around $100+ more for. It's pretty friggin' insane.

If you don't care about Steam achievements then I suppose you have nothing to worry about, although, I think it should be recognized just how slimy Paradox is being with that system. I seriously cannot believe people are cool with it. It's very anti-consumer.

You also need a separate Paradox user account to play which I think is annoying.

I fully recommend. Especially if you love base building, resource management, and Sci-Fi themes. The music is also phenomenal. I plowed right through Factorio and couldn't put it down.

Factorio is easily one of the funnest games I've ever played. This is coming from a 40+ year old veteran gamer. It's probably on my all-time top 20. I definitely look forward to playing with mods and I hear there is an expansion on the way. I'm typically into first person RPGs with eye popping graphics ... so Factorio turned me off initially ... but that was clearly my mistake. I can't wait for new content.

Steam is correct that it actually took me 70 hours to complete my first play-through ... which probably isn't normal ... so I must point out that not only did I play this game casually, and also tried for achievements, but I left it running a few times over night when I went to bed. I'd say that accounts for at least sixteen hours.

Looks like Factorio inspired some other factory games, which is pretty cool, but Factorio is still my number one. I have yet to find its equal. So if you've already tried those other factory games, and liked them, then you must check out Factorio.

It's a decent game for the price. Certainly not without faults, or bugs, but I fully enjoyed it even with all the constant "Praise Jesus Christ" crap. Yes, constant. I'm sure it's there for historical accuracy, to help make this more of a medieval period piece, or whatever. I'm sure everyone talked like that, in some places, at one point in time. It's gross but the rest of the game really helps make it taste better.

- The game is pretty to look at most of the time. It begs to be played.

- Interesting dialogue with bits of comic relief thrown around.

- I was skeptical of combat at first, because of what other people were saying, but don't listen to those people. Combat is challenging, and different, but very fun and rewarding.

- Alchemy was refreshing. Every game seems to have some sort of crafting system now, but in Kingdom Come, you actually make the potions in first person. Gather ingredients. Crush them. Mix them. Cook them. Distill them. Bottle them. It's pretty neat-o.

- Little details in the game add to the fun. For example, I really enjoyed that I could learn "reading" as a skill, but if I decided not to take it, then I couldn't understand any books. Another example. I liked a piece of armor at a shop, but couldn't afford it, so I waited until dark to break in and steal it.

Big Tip: Get the "Royal Edition," with ALL the DLC, and use a gamepad. They advertise DLC in the game by graying out features or putting "DLC spots" on the map. It's slimy. You'll thank me later though. I'm also a keyboard / mouse kinda guy ... but you'll probably wanna use a gamepad ... it's just one of those games that was made for one.

EDIT: I feel I should point out that I also played this game on a different platform. I still haven't finished it yet, but I have way more than 8 hours here on Steam.

¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸THE GOOD¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸

- Great graphics

- Fluid Game-play

- Interesting story

- Gun battles are fun

- Cinematic Camera travel is brilliant

- I've never been a fan of "Westerns" but I had fun with this game!!

¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸THE BAD¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸

- Single Player Bugs. Such as graphical glitches, NPCs constantly making incorrect comments about temperature & weather, player sheet does not correctly reflect player weight or temperature, the game auto-turns system sound down during initial game load (before title shotgun blast) ... etc. etc. etc. I mean, I like rainbows and everything, but they are everywhere! Even at night, during thunderstorms, and around smoke stacks.

- Questionable development choices

- Not enough bounties or activities

- No focus on dueling. It happens once or twice as a random event.

- The game "Log" is pretty bad. It could definitely be better.

¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸THE UGLY¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸

- BSOD on very first start of RDR2

- Crash on second play start ... but game ran fine after that ...

- Lots of obvious cut content

- Nothing to spend all your money on. Robbing and saving are completely useless. You can buy outfits, but there aren't that many, and they seem buggy. You can buy ammo, food, and horses but the game chokes you with all those things for free. There are some "camp upgrades," trinkets, and talismans ... but again ... there's really not much there.

- You must have a separate account to play

- Online is a total joke. Cheating is rampant. Parents apparently allow their kids to play this game ... and apparently these butt-wipes have zero skill or sportsmanship ... and can't resist it. Rockstar will never be able to completely stop or fix it. They should just ditch all "online services" and focus / add more to the single player experience.

¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸FINAL THOUGHTS / WISHES¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸

- I wish there were more mini-games or activities! Such as panning for gold, playing harmonica, cigarette rolling, spittoons, or Tarot Card reading.

- Missed opportunity to have vision quests or drug trips (like Peyote in GTA)

- Some activities Online should also be available in Single Player

- Missed opportunity for prostitutes (like in GTA)

- I really wish we could buy those apartments that are advertised, or build those unfinished homes, in town

- I really wished we could get one of those dogs as a companion for hunting or attacking

- More Native American representation

- I wanted more "dusty dirty desperate western towns." Everything is green & thriving in RDR2. AND THERE ARE NO TUMBLEWEEDS!!! WTF.

All in all, Single Player was a pretty good experience. I plowed right through it. Had a difficult time putting it down. Again, I've never been a fan of Westerns, so that should mean a lot coming from me. Red Dead Redemption 2 certainly wasn't without its faults or bugs though!!

I haven't finished the 2nd epilogue yet, I didn't get very far Online, and I didn't play the first RDR. So maybe there are Tumbleweeds that I just haven't found yet?

DOOM kicks ass. Reminded me of the original Doom. Seemed pretty short though, so maybe 20$ isn't a bad price tag, it just would've been cool to have a longer game. Now we just need a modern version of Hexen!!!

On my first play, I plowed right through it on a friend's console, and beat it. Then I decided to just buy the game, with DLC, and take my time. Something I've never done with a Witcher game before. I've tried the other two games, but couldn't get into them, so I suppose they did something correct with Wild Hunt! I recommend using a gamepad.

Anyways, I have been playing on a harder difficulty, currently with 117 hours and it feels like I'm only halfway through. There certainly is a lot of content. No argument there. I'm just surprisingly bored now.

On this second play-through ... it gets annoying at times. I guess I'm fatigued from my first play? I don't know. It's weird. Character & town names annoy me now. The dialogue annoys me. The combat is the only thing I'm really having fun with. So maybe I can't really fault the game. I mean, I don't remember any bugs or crashes, plus it was sorta fun the first time. I suppose I should give it a thumbs up then ...

"Greatest RPG of ALL time" though?? Hardly. More like most overrated RPG of all time.
