I liked the actual physical board game so I figured I'd check this out. I can't get it to work though. I can get to the menu, choose a new game, set it up, but when I go to start it the game apparently freezes. It's not "non-responsive," it just sits at the loading screen forever. Oh, well?

FYI - The free version gives you 4 scenarios to play. I suppose I could go back and try the other ones and see if they work, but ... meh ...

So much love for XCOM!!!

I grew up with the original games, which I thought were brilliant back then, but they absolutely do not compare to these new ones. The modern XCOM games are pretty insane. I fully recommend.

You gotta have the DLC too because it was great. I hope the next DLC, or the next game, is similar to Terror From The Deep. It needs to happen.

Micro-transactions? Loot boxes?? Pay To Win options??? NO THANKS!!! How this became a thing that customers are cool with is completely beyond me. I guess it just goes to show how things are these days, and how many real losers there are in the gaming community.

Friggin' disgusting.

Ugh ...
1. It's fun with a game pad.
2. I can't remember running into any bugs.
3. Combat is like their Batman games.
4. So thumbs up, I suppose? It's pretty solid. No denying that. So I can't in good conscience "down-vote-review-bomb" this game.
5. Screw WB though. Screw them so f'n hard. Yuck. Disgusting company. Don't buy anything from them.

Awesome game!!! A fantastic addition to the series if not THE best. Definitely underrated and definitely way more interesting than New Vegas. No contest. So I happily give this a thumbs up. Works just fine on Windows 7. You do not need "Games For Windows Live" to play this by the way, as some "reviewers" have suggested.

The hours shown on my account do not reflect the amount of time I've actually spent playing this game. I've clocked hundreds of hours on other systems. I only got this on Steam so I would have another copy.

As a side note: I'm not completely sure why customers are wasting time complaining about this not working on Win10 ... it's a bit silly ... makes me think people are looking for any excuse to give this game a down-vote because they don't like Bethesda or Zenimax for whatever loony political reason. This game is over TEN YEARS OLD and not optimized for Win10. Derp. Bethesda will probably never go back and fix this. Why would they? Get your heads out of your butts, you NV/Obsidian/fanboys ...

This was received as a gift.

I haven't finished the game yet but I'm having a pretty fun solo experience so far. If I had a criticism, it would be watering crops with a can, and also the combat. It's the same problem, and both can get pretty annoying at times even with upgraded tools.

Fortunately, modders have fixed the problem, so you can actually do the action you want where the mouse is pointing. That might not make sense to a new customer, but believe me, it will soon. It was just bad / lazy programming & design.

The soundtrack is surprisingly amazing. There is one song that has an odd part in it though ... but I'm a musician, so I notice little things in songs where most others probably wouldn't.

Multiplayer is pretty buggy, but none of it has been game breaking yet. Character animations can go wonky, world messages are not always delivered to all players, the dog sometimes flies through the air, "inventory full" message even when it's not ... it's little glaring things like that. Again, not game breaking, but certainly noticeable.

It would be really nice if they fixed the multiplayer bugs. They seem super simple. I think ConcernedApe should be a bit concerned. Don't get me wrong it's still fun with friends. It's cute. Probably a game for the whole family too.

Sure, thumbs up for now. I might change my review later if I run into any major problems.

UPDATE: Players can mod a multiplayer game just for themselves, and the host doesn't even need to have the same mod. Just FYI. I thought you all should probably know that. A player can essentially cheat in your game without you knowing it. I haven't had that problem, but it could happen to someone else.

Long & boring turn-based game. The "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews astound me, a lot of people out there must truly be this dull. Oh, well?

Single player is OK I suppose. It gets very boring after a while but game play is much quicker than multiplayer. You might even be able to finish a game. I don't remember running into any bugs or crashes.

Multiplayer? Good luck finishing a match in one day, and then good luck saving it, and coming back to it a week later. It's also turn based, so if you're waiting on a friend's turn, and he decides he wants to take a crap, make a sandwich, talk on the phone, and play slip & slide with a banana peel then you have to wait.

So they gave this to me for free earlier this month but decided to finally check it out today. An hour in and I don't think it's for me. It's boring, confusing, and the run/sprint mechanic is so awful that it boggles my mind.

Other than that there isn't much to do. It seems like a walking sim. Yes, all you do is walk around ... in a scary-ish environment ... and pick up notes to give story. I suppose there is some action? I died a few times and don't even know why!

There are WAY better games out there for around the same price. It's definitely not worth $20! It has simple graphics, super clunky controls, zero learning curve, lame music, and some spooky-ish moments. PewdiePie is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moron.

I love the Anno games ...

Screw Ubisoft though. Seriously. Uplay, and their anti-piracy bull, and their customer service are all absolute crap! What a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ losers.
