This right here is Guilty Gear at its absolute finest. The largest roster of any GG game, best balance, deep mechanics, and in 6 days there will be superior GGPO netcode which will ensure that most games are lag free as long as both players are playing with an ethernet connection.

I only have a handful of hours on here but I have I don't know how many hundreds logged on console.

Really fun game, would recommend if you like Dwarf Fortress or Rimworld. A little easier going than those games but still plenty fun. Definitely a work in progress still but the developers are still cranking out significant updates regularly and are active within the community.

Do you want to make hats out of human skin? You can do that. Organ farm? No problem.

It has become quite evident that QA for this game is severely lacking. The developers seem to have put the game on the backburner and updates are a bit sparse. The cash shop egregiously sqeezes every last little penny out of you. Want to unlock something? Get ready to drop a TON of cash for a single mount. Want to use it on another character? Well there's an additional charge they'll throw down for that too. A large number of the items seem to be just retextures as well, minimal effort from the developers for a full price tag.

Server performance is merely ok. It's stable a good amount but rubberbanding, disconnects, and general lag seem to be a problem. There's also enough bugs in this game after 8 years that it still feels like it's in its first year.

I haven't reached level cap yet, but I will update this after I do so.

The gameplay is very run of the mill if you've ever played an MMO from 2000-2010. Even at release, it was really nothing special. Not exactly a "WoW with lightsabers" clone... but it ain't far off.

The one thing I will say this game can do well is give you a great single player story experience. Each class has their own storyline they follow along and most of them are very good. The Jedi Knight's story is the "unofficial" Kotor 3, the Imperial Agent is regarded as having the best story and the most references to the other class stories. The Jedi Consular is the only class out of the 8 that's a bit boring but some folks still like it.

If you're looking for an old MMO style, Star Wars, and some solid stories, then this will be a decent game. If you want anything fresh, strong developer support, a cash shop that isn't greedy, or a big popular game to play, I would look elsewhere. FFXIV might be a better choice.

Great game that has gotten tons of support for many years now. No pay 2 win garbage in the store. Allows for complete freedom making a character that you really want to play instead of placing restrictions on you. If you like Diablo 2, you'll like PoE.

Pretty good, would be cool if they added more expansions.

The game has been out less than a month and I've already gotten nearly 200 hours in, it's fantastic. There's a long ways to go with early access, but it's already at a very strong foundation with large weekly updates rolling in. By the time we leave early access, this will probably be GOTY.

When they dropped the DLC, the kinda broke the game for a time. I dropped it for quite a while as I waited for them to fix it. I'm not sure when they did, but it seems that Capcom has indeed fixed the game. Now that it's playable, I highly recommend this game. There is so much content, the combat feels great, the only microtransactions are for silly costumes for your assistant, it's just all around a great game. Playing with friends will make this already awesome game even better.

I've tried playing and being a part of the community but they are by and large hostile and unwelcoming. Every question or offer of assistance in the game is met with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ childish attitude. If you break one of the unwritten rules in the game, you'll be met with a flood of reports before you get a "Hey, can you stop doing this thing for such and such reason?"

If you want to play a game that's supposed to be one big team game where your team is as helpful as the enemy team, then give Foxhole a try. Maybe it's because it's about as fun as being in an actual foxhole.
