What we expect: A new updated and smoother version of the first with better movement, new levels, characters and items.

What we got: A very generic feeling twin stick shooter with incredibly watered down mechanics that loosely mimic gameplay of the first.

To me this game just doesnt deliver, gameplay seems to consist of holding down left click and a letting the game auto-aim as i run through tedius levels. All interesting mechanics of the first are completely gone or so watered down that they might as well be removed. If you never played the first, you may enjoy this, but if you come in expecting Dungeon of the endless 2 prepare to be extremely disappointed.

The most garbage anticheat in us history. Congrats EA

Graphics - 9/10 - Game looks fantastic. Great level design with each biome being wildly different from the last
Story 5/10 - Writing isnt the strong suit here. If youre just here for lore, probably not for you
Gameplan Loop - 9/10 - Just really solid, well thought out bosses. Challenging but fair mechanics. Really good
Music 7/10 - Actually really good music but cuts in and out weirdly and abruptly

Overall 8.5/10 - Worth the $50, high replay-ability. Solid fun game for solo or co-op

Game is really good, but im experiencing lots of crashes mid run. Theres currently no reconnecting to multiplayer lobbies, and havent been able to find solutions to the crashes. Id wait for a few more stability patches to roll to cop this one, but when it becomes stable, this game will be very good.

Probably the best AARPG in the world, but heavily on the decline. Major disconnect between their players and the devs. If you arent already playing every season, i wouldnt suggest starting now.

Really solid game, but i dont think its going to have the replayability as i thought it might when i saw the trailers.
Mix of cute, and super dark. Funny and interesting writing. Overall really solid.
Overall Rating: Wait for sale/10.
If you can't wait for a sale, its definitely enjoyable and you wont feel like you got cheated.

Trying really hard to like this game, and its not grabbing me like i thought it would. Feels like every combat has to be conducted perfectly and it has the most ridiculously long loading screens when you're forced to go back to a save after the fight goes south. Has interesting mechanics, but seems overly punishing even on just the medium of the three (hard) difficulties. Maybe it will get better, but Im starting to doubt it.

Have had this game wishlisted basically since its release. Finally pulled the trigger and man was it worth it.

If you enjoy strategy based turn based roguelikes this is definitely the move. Strongly suggest giving it a shot.
