This game is not a deckbuilder, the steam-tag is just false advertisement. You cannot put that in the same category as Slay the Spire and Monster Train, it does not fit in there. There is almost no variety in "cards" and the rest is just rolling dice and hoping for good RNG. You never feel powerful or get a feeling of outscaling your enemies and some "cards"/builds are lightyears from being useful, they clearly have not been tested. (E.g. I tried a defensive build + deal damage for each block value you have because i did not have much max health during this run. I even upgraded these "cards". I could build up about 10 block per turn, final boss dealing at least 12-15 damage per turn, no way to win this, even with save and quit and trying again, no chance. I cannot build up any block at all and there is no way i could have played this build any better way because you do not get any "cards", it is such a poor variety. Any person in the positive comments that says "great variety" has never played real deckbuilders before.)
It feels really boring and exhausting after a little while. The artstyle is also not my cup of tea but each to their own.
All in all it is mediocre, but i cannot really recommend it if you are looking for deckbuilder games.

Super fun game, the only frustrating part is that it /does/ seem like the enemies can often get like the 'exact' rolls they need. Still, I really enjoy playing it! It's fun if you want a more casual roguelike
