You know, I backed the Kickstarter a few years back and am STILL getting games from it.

An excellent sequel, a lot more single-player focused, but not as wordy as Monster Camp. Overall a wonderful experience!

Is say no a cute game, with a neat story, good style, and jamming music.

Yes!

Would I recommend it to a friend?

No.

Despite having the potential of being a good game, there are just too many problems. There is little to no game play, your character can't lose, and all you do is press the space bar at specific times. Like, they give you four different types of nos, four different ways of weakening opponents, but none of them seem to matter?! It was just 1.7 hours of cut scenes, essentially.

Is there character customization and few secrets?

Yeah, but they really needed to work on the core-game play loop.

I can tell that this game had a lot of passion put into it. But I just feel, disappointed in the final product.

As noted, this game as humor and good design. It just has NO game play.

The way the game keeps changing is quite unique. The visual styles morph too, and the horror element is interwoven throughout the entire experience.

My only critique would be the ending, which feels a bit....anti-climatic. Then again, it IS a horror game.

A beautiful game with good horror elements. It's done without dialogue, but the story seems interesting enough.

Pros
-Short, sweet and to the point.
-Interesting character designs.
-Great graphics and atmosphere.
-Under $10.

Cons
-When I say short, I mean short. I beat the game in 3.5 hours.
-A bit repetitive after the first play-through. And you will need to play through twice to get the special ending. At the very least, they skip sections you've already "passed"
-Rather simple. It's nearly a walking simulator. A beautiful one, yes, but don't expect heavy puzzles or game play.

Overall:
A cute little indie game definitely worth it's price. Not as good as "Going Under", but a good Psychological Horror game.

Note on the secret ending:
The name of the game is a hint. Once you get the best ending, play it again at that time.

A wonderful game and a wonderful sequel to one of my favorite games of all time. Great humor, gorgous scenery, interesting enemies, and good platforming. It also had a few twists and turns that I wasn't really expecting. Regardless, I'm happy to see that Double Fine was able to come out with a sequel worthy of the name Psychonauts.

My biggest critique would be the characters. Most of the characters from the last game take a backseat to this game's story. While you can still see them in game and talk with them, I feel that there should have been a few more missions with them. Likewise, I would have loved to see more intereactions with the interns, who only seem to appear at the beginning and end of the story.

I also feel that the coworkers at Psychonauts HQ have a little less personality than the campers at Crystal Lake.

But past that, all the characters still have stellar personalities, and if my only complaint is that I wanted more time with them, I would say that isn't a bad complaint to have.

A great game. And the only thing I could ask for is more game. I hope to see some DLC in the future. At the very least, I hope I don't have to wait 16 years for yet another sequel.

P.S.
Oh wait, no, I remember my biggest complaint. Not being able to get a physical disk of this game. PLEASE DO A REPRINTING. I LIKE MY PHYSICAL MEDIA.

Loved Monster Prom One. Did the Kickstarter. Got Monster Prom 2. Wasn't Disappointed. Keep making great games. And bother Netflix on making "Monster Prom: The Anime"

It's a free dating sim. Like, it's surprisingly good. Yes it's a commercial, but it's finger-licken good.

Short, sweet, and lovely. It's a loving omage to the 1950s noir genre, with a mix of exestintial dread and scientific theory.

Strange. Artistic. Stylish. I would recommend.

Evil Genius (both the first and the second) are games you should play if you wish to feel like an evil genius in a Bond movie. Great traps, characters, and overall loot you can steal.

While this game did make a number of improvements over the last ones, it made a number of flaws as well. It's pacing is particularly notorious. However, it makes up for it with great characters, scenes, and events.

Overall, it makes for a good successor. Would suggest for those interested in management sims and world domination.
