I've been a long time fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series, I started with the SMT Nocturne Digital Devil Saga on Playstation 2. I think that this is a solid entry in the franchise so far, but I'm still in the earlier stages of the Vengeance storyline. I really like the aspect of being able to talk to the demons and guests on your team, even if for the demons it's not extremely in depth, as it makes them feel more like characters and companions you're fighting beside than just random creatures to throw at whatever enemies show up.

Good fun with friends, requires a little coordination and planning at lower difficulties and far more the higher you go. Whether or not you feel it's worth your money isn't for me to decide, but waiting for a sale would probably be a good idea. Especially if you plan on getting the "Deluxe" or "Ultimate" versions as I feel the DLCs are a bit expensive for what they offer.

It's fun and relaxing to just sail around catching fish, gathering materials and building up your ship with no real pressure

A great blend of the Warriors series hack and slash mass combat and the Shin Megami Tensei / Persona combat mechanics.

I've been absolutely loving this continuation of the Creeper World franchise. The switch to 3D really helps drive home just how -much- of the creeper you're facing off against in each mission. There's little like seeing a massive tsunami of creeper come rolling towards your base and frantically building and praying your defenses will hold.

As of the time of my reviewing this, I have 58.5 hours in the game, for the first volume alone, out of four volumes. A blast from the past and it's aged well. If you enjoyed it when it first came out, you're likely to enjoy it now as well. Not to mention the "all new exclusive 4th Volume: .hack//G.U. Reconnection".

You will spend less time on the game if you just try to breeze through it and ignore the sidequests and the 100% things, but I have had a ton of fun just working on getting everything I possibly can in the first volume before I move on to the second.

Early Access Review
I purchased a while back, hoping to support the developers and see a game with potential come to fruition.

Unfortunately it appears that this game has been abandoned. I cannot recommend that anyone else throw their money away on this at all.

Another case of Early Access becoming an Early Grave for a game and your money.

As far as I can tell, even though the story is linear up until the end it's decent enough. I enjoyed my time in the game and beat it in one sitting. I found that more levels are linear and any 'secret' or 'side' parts to them simply contain some more ammo/health/tech points. By the end I'd narrowed my style down to the auto-gun and the sniper rifle with liberal use of the deadlock zones. What the sniper rifle can't kill in one hit, a burst from the auto-gun in a deadlock zone usually will.

If you're looking for a solid single player FPS that has an interesting storyline to it and some interesting mechanics, go ahead and give this a try. I did not encounter any bugs what so ever during my play through, but that doesn't happen for everyone.
