Played at launch and refunded, bought again for the NEXT update and very happy. The game has changed a lot, it's still very grindy which may or may not be a bad thing if you're into that; luckily I am so it's ticked all the boxes for me. The game feels very tedious at the start, but as soon as you start upgrading your gear and your ship, it gets a lot less tedius. Fuel lasts for longer, you mine quicker and stuff doesn't run out as fast. Almost a 10/10 for me. If they added a PvP option to turn on at the start of the game where you select to play in a group or single, it'd be 10/10; but overall a fantastic game which I'll be playing for a long long time. 9/10

Two quck patches after the game was released, and now the game is perfectly playable (4790k and 1080ti). It's amazing how much VR adds to Fallout 4, being inside the game and being able to look around. Living the dream.

Gameplay is on point, even with the occasional bug, it's really fun trying for a full stealth / no kill on hard.
Still can't recommend buying it though. Even after two 6gb+ patches, it looks like complete garbage in 1080p, and runs like it too.

What a disappointment.
Don't get me wrong, it was well made, but it felt unfinished.
The tutorial ran you through putting tools in your backpack which is never used, one of which was a pickaxe which you also never use.
I have no idea what was going on in the developers heads when they decided to make you have to use the teleport function to get to the peak. This ruined any sense of immersion, not that there was much to begin with; the fly-bys in between each 'gameplay' section did a great job of this and were also massive spoilers.

TLDR: Well made, unfinished, some terrible design decisions, too expensive for what it is, and clearly un-finished (inventory system in the tutorial and pickaxe, neither of which are ever used). Refunded.
