Liberty has once again won the day! The threat of PSN towards Super-Earth has been eliminated, and democracy can rest easy.

Early Access Review
Manor Lords, AKA Banished 2, is the true successor to one of my all-time favorite medieval colony survival-type games. I remember adding this game to my wish list years ago, and I'm glad I did because it's got great bones. The game doesn't have a lot of end-game content yet, and some of the mechanics are pretty basic, but it plays very well and is super solid! This is how early access SHOULD be, bugs are few and far between, and it's begging for new content. I can't wait!

Does it need optimization? Yes. Does it deserve a 30% positive review rating? Absolutely not.

You can tell how much love and care the developers have poured into this game, the tools and assists we wanted from CS1 are integrated into this game and done even better. Cities Skylines is the true Simcity 4 successor and CS2 takes it up a notch. I look forward to performance improvements they do and within a year, I imagine this game will be running butter smooth.

When I got my VR headset, I knew this would be one of my first games. I wasn't disappointed. The story lives up to the quality you expect from Valve, with a similar storytelling style to the Half Life series, this feels right at home in the series. Valve really showcases the highlights of VR gameplay and the game feels very natural while also running surprisingly well. I was a bit worried my 1080 wasn't going to keep up but Valve's optimization had this game running great across all quality levels. Half-Life: Alyx is a perfect combination of FPS, horror, VR interaction, and great storytelling that'll make you wish Valve made games on the regular again.

Call of Duty used to be the pinnacle of well-polished, clean, robust, and wonderful, arcade-style first-person shooters. Having been a fan of the series since Call of Duty 4, playing LAN games and seeing the franchise mature through Modern Warfare and Blackouts. For a while, it really seemed they had found a good recipe for games, trading off between Infinity Ward and Treyarch Studious, the franchise had found a comfortable medium where they could try new things and be able to roll out what worked into next year's release.

In recent years however, there's been so many acquisitions of the franchise and such large controlling parties taking over, the game has beyond lost its roots of what it was. If you told me ten years ago, that Call of Duty would take on many attributes of free-to-play models while charging OVER normal full-game release prices, I would have asked if EA bought them out. For 70$, you are paying for the privilege of giving them even more money, this truly feels like we've taken what gaming is supposed to be, and entered mobile gaming territory.

The quality of the game really seems to reflect that as well. It truly feels as if the developers who were designing in-game mechanics and structure, have been re-tasked to create skins and other money-grabbing features that are unheard of in previous titles. The games no longer show off the cool skins you worked for, but rather who has the deepest pockets.

The actual gameplay feels incredibly clunky, the gunplay feels awful, the movement mechanics are garbage, the user interfaces are rough and unfinished, and the game experiences frequent crashes and the performance is awful. I've played first-person shooters that have been made by teams of 1 - 5 people that felt significantly better than this dog crap.

In previous years, you were happy and excited to talk about games you played and Call of Duty was absolutely high on that list. But now, you are ashamed to even admit owning it. It's so beyond sad to see how these large corporations have completely and utterly destroyed this title and are milking it for every last cent more than Bethesda is milking Skyrim.

There's nothing here COD excels in anymore, if you want battle royal, go play Apex or PUBG, if you want a high-intensity tactical shooter, Arma, Battlefield, or Tarkov, if you want a fast-paced first-person shooter, Counter-Strike. At least with most of the games on this list that have a seasons pass that requires money, the publishers aren't begging 70$ for the base game.

Great game, worth the buy, but they just made modding this game illegal... It was literally the reason to buy the PC version and apparently the only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way to make them pay attention to their own stupidity is negative press review, so I can not recommend this game until this ♥♥♥♥ is solved

Early Access Review
After having played this game for a few hundred hours, I'm not going to lie, there are a ton of bugs and problems with the game, but at the same time it's a fantastic experience.

The concept of a battle royale game have been around for along time, the first iterations starting as simple mods for FPS's, Arma 3's Battle Royale really kicked off the genre with the general public, and H1Z1's attempt was also a hit, but, one is a mod and the 2nd makes Call of Duty look like the best game ever. While PUBG still has bugs and issues, H1Z1 after Years of development, still suffers from a lot of the same problems it did day 1, and it truly seems the development team's focus has been shifted from fixing the bugs and making it a fantastic game, and more towards content and milking money from players.

Unlike it's predicesors, Playerunkown's Battlegrounds, is one of the first games developed around and solely for battle royale. It's development is purposed around bettering the players experience in the one and only gamemode, and it truly seems the developers are working hard to smash the bugs that currently plague the game and bettering the playing experience to the best of their ability.

Yes, this is still an early access title, yes it's buggy, yes you can die by the problems currently in the game, but despite the issues i've experienced in the nearly 200 hours i've played, this game gives me an adrenaline rush like no other game can. Every single round, the thrill of the fight is a fantastic feeling, and once you get up to the top 10 and the play circle is only a few hundred meters across, you can feel your pulse starting to spike. It's like the thrill you get from a good horror game, but every single round you get that rush.

Is this game perfect? Hell no. Is it worth the $ in it's current form? Absolutely. The devs have already ironed out a lot of bugs and they continue to do so patch after patch, the game is already in a great state and it can only get better.

If you've been looking for a game to get you back in the FPS genre, and a game that truly keeps you on the edge of your seat, you will love Playerunkown's Battlegrounds

If you've played any other farming simulator game, you know exactly what to expect from this game, that being said, with each rendition Giant Software improve each and every game with new ideas and fresh outtakes; but where they screwed up is charging money for their DLC. Do not get me wrong, they are very well done, but I believe with out major differences between 15 and 17, I can't aprove their penny pinching in the DLC.

But, if you ignore that fact, the game it's self is great, I love the mod support Giant has and the game itself is very sleek, clean and elegant. It runs very well and simply works. It is a very well designed game, but I do not agree with some of their finacial strategys.

I used to play this game far back in Alpha status, when it was a simple mining/farming/defense strategy game; and I saw it come to Steam and had to try it out again. It's turned from that simple strategy game into a complex, indepth, fantastic RPG strategy game. The amount of care that has gone into this game since the early days is staggering, and it's complexity is nearly annoying with the amount of states and emmotions of your colinists you have to deal with.

Just the other day, had an enemy tride raid me, was able to capture one and kill the remaining, turns out, the prisoner had early onset malaria. I treat my colonists and prevent spreading it then release him. The enemy tried is happy to have him back, and pretty sure the tribe is on the brink of death as malaria spreads threw like wild fire.

10/10 Would send a malaria infected prisoner back to their tribe again.

I've been playing this nearly none stop since getting it is an amazing game and an example how to do early access properly. I've been playing as nothing but captain on the galleon and holly ♥♥♥♥, I have not had this much fun in a video game in ages! It is so intense and enveloping that hours go by before I notice. You have no idea how amazing it is pulling broadside to an enemy ship and just seeing the carnage that insues.

If this style of game interests you at all, pick it up! It is easily one of the best 20$ I've spent.
