I am such a huge fan of Amplitude games. I really believe that the work they do is groundbreaking. I've been hesitant to share my thoughts on this game until it was fully 'cooked'. Amplitude games are living, breathing things that grow with time. I think for people that haven't played the earlier games that HUMANKIND is an enjoyable and very creative 4X Game that is worth checking out. For people like me, who are invested in the ENDLESS Universe in all of it's glory, the only way to play this game is with the OFFICIAL ENDLESS MOD that turns the history of the world into a truly bizarre journey into weird! It's perhaps a more realistic take into where this human experiment is really heading. 4/4 Stars (with the Official Endless Mod)

Absolute ♥♥♥♥ UI... The unit cards are so small on the city view that you have to squint your eyes. It's hard to believe they made a 15 year old UI worse. Wouldn't that be the first thing to improve? Fail. Unplayable. Waste of money.

Shogun 2 is still by far the best Total War. Revisit it!

I've got over 50 hours in and this is a bargain for Early-Access. Can't wait to see where Amplitude goes with this one. Already so many interesting new ideas in the game. Like the Senate mechanic and probes. Anomolies are handled in such a fun way. The battles look fantastic. Curious how combat develops because there is definitely room for more meat on the bones in that area. Anyway, thank you Amplitude for always delivering an enjoyable, deep game and it's so nice to know Endless Space 2 is only going to get better.

Wow! I love this genre. 4x strategy and fantasy. There are other reviews that go over some of the details that make this the best 4X game to come out in ages but let me sun it up in one sentense. If you are looking for a 4X game that gives you that 'Just One More Turn' feeling than look no further.

Just one bit of advice. Even if you have played games like this before don't go thinking you can skip the tutorial and dive right in. There are so many fresh new game mechanics and concepts in this beauty that you will have no idea what is going on.

It's so good that I won't be playing anything else for quite a while. There isn't a game on Steam that gives you more value for the price. I would have gladly paid 'Blue Chip' prices just to support such great indie game developers. Congratulations, Guys.
