Spend ten minutes queuing and running around looking for random weapons just to die in a few seconds of actual gameplay. Repeat until you are braindead from boredom and frustration. Bleh. What a piece of ♥♥♥♥ (as all BR games tend to be).

The very early game is great. Really great. Then you start playing against torpedos. For me, that's where the game just kind of dies. My tier four battleship can tank a nice bit of damage, but a single torpedo can conistently do an incredibly maassive about of damage. Just one. If i'm unlucky enough to get hit with more than that, it's pretty much game over; and since they are just spammed by destroyers, cruiers and planes... yeah... good game.

This game is fun, but it tries to do a lot of things and it feels like the over all goal of the game was lost along the way. Instead of picking one historic period and sticking with it, it tries to go through them all, resulting in fights between ancient chariots and 19th century cannons. It makes no sense and things like this do more harm than good for the overall experience in my opinion.

Seeing an announcement that Montezuma of the Aztecs has just built Big Ben is just odd, and again feels like they lost sight of what they were trying to do with this game.

I love this game. Truly love it. I've got just under 400 hours in it, have built some (imo) impressive things. In patch 0.5.

Patch 0.6, however, is just broken for me. The game makes my builds slope upwards; my tunnels will tilt to one side. Even small builds will eventually start to have a slope to them. The ground doesn't change, just the things i build on it.

There is so much to love about this game, but having your builds start sloping and tilting is completely game breaking. Until they fix that, i simply cannot recommend this game. As much as it pains me to say that, i feel i have to.

Start game in a small village at level one. Leave the village at level one. Promptly stomped by level 112 wraith. Respawn, let guards kill wraith. Leave small village, get stomped by level 40 panther before getting to level 2.

This experience of leaving, village, kiting monsters with 100+ levels back to the guards has continued for 12 levels now. How anyone could think this is fun, is beyond me. I want to play the game, not kite mobs for the guards to kill.

Until this is balanced, i really think people should stay away from this game.

I love this game. I really, really do. It can be an absolute blast to play.

That being said, i cannot recommennd this game for various reasons.

1. The muskets. Get close enough to someone to completely fill your reticle and you'll sill miss most of the time. This is because the firing is completely RNG and it's so skewed that it seems one would have a better chance of getting a legendary drop from a Murloc in WoW than getting any kind of consistent shots in this game. I actually find i get better accuracy when I DON"T have a target in the reticle. I hit someone earlier today who was at least two inches to the right of my reticle (my ping was 91ms). Yeah, it's that bad.

2. The population is tiny. Really tiny. This is probably why there is no ping limit on the server. You'll play with and against people with 600+ ping, which only exacerbates the problems i describe above.

3. Players almost always refuse to work together, choosing instead to hang out at spawn, bouncing around, doing various emotes and blaring their microphones.

4. Microphone abuse. I spend a lot of time scrolling the list, looking for the person blaring obscenities or random musick.

Despite all of that, I keep playing, and i sincerely hope that someday soon, Anvil gets this game working properly.

What a piece of ♥♥♥♥. First time playing and game doesn't even have a Fullscreen option??? Seriously? Whoever thought that was a good idea should be fired.

My first and only match had Freddy as the killer, but he was invisible the entire match unitl he found and killed me. Watching my teammates floating through the air because the killer was invisible... yeah. What a ♥♥♥♥ game.

The inventory system is just... terrible to be polite about it.

The UI is clunky and the mouse/free camera system is also clunky and feels cumbersome.

Trying to build even a tiny shack means spending an hour trying to "flatten ground" only to still not hae enough ground "flattened" to build a house.

This could be a good game, but it needs sooooo much work to even be comfortably playable, imo.

My game starts off well, i'm careful, don't over-extend and keep my guys in the best gear i've unlocked. I level them up to Captains and such. Then it all falls apart as it soon becomes an issue where my team (even Captains, Majors, etc) simply miss 9 out of every 10 shots. They wind up dead and now i'm just down to feeding rookies to the aliens with ZERO chance of success.

I'm talking about evey class with Skeleton armor, S.C.O.P.E. Laser weapons, and 90+ hit rating. Missing nearly all of their shots. Even when the target has 80-98% chance to hit. The only shots they don't miss are the 100% shots. Meanwhile the aliens have about a 75-80% accuracy chance. It's just stupidly lopsided. Especially since these soldiers are supposed to be "the best of the best." Ha! What a joke.

I like a challenging game, but this is just stupidly broken, imo.

I loved FO3 and still think FO:NV is one of the best games of all time, this, however, is just a pale shadow of those two. Aside from the settlement system (which really needs mods to get the most out of it), there's really just not much there.

There's nothing that makes me even WANT to care about the main story or side quests (which are mostly repetitive "go here, kill x number of whatever" missions and activate a radio beacon). I never felt motivated to actually complete the story line. I played through it, shrugged my shoulders, "meh" and went on with my day.

There is no consequence for doing whatever you like. Everyone pretty much just loves you regardless of what you do. All the dialogues are just various ways of saying, "Okay, i'll do it".

The voiced protagonist is a really awful design choice if you're anything like me. The voice tends to force a certain look to the character, imo. I found it impossible to create anything but a stereotypical white person. Other races were fine until the voice came out and then it all fell apart. On top of that, the female voice was just horrible to listen to in general. Again, just my two cents.

It honestly feels like they checked around for what people loved about the previous FO games and tore it out. It feels almost like they are actually TRYING to drive people away from this franchise, which if they are looking to move away from FO games in general, this might not be a bad way to go about it.
