Early Access Review
This game is stupidly rough. A friend gifted this to me, and I played for the first time last night. I wandered around until i starved to death before finding anything at all; no buildings, no roads, nothing. Just trees. After respawning, i was immediately set up on by zombies that just never stopped chasing me. I finally found a town, but with no weapons, and now, three zombies chasing me, i couldn't stop to look for food. I did finally find an apple and a kiwi, so i avoided starvation, only to fall shortly there after, break my legs, and be pummeled by another player.

The controls are akin to driving a boat. Even though you let go of the key, you still keep moving. This makes moving through a building frustrating at best.

Zombies can be invisible, and killing something you can't see is next to impossible.

Melee weapons tend to clip through the zombies without actualy causing any damage. I died trying to kill a zombie with my axe because the axe kept swinging right through the zombie.

People gank each other on sight, so there is no in game community that i've seen.

Loot is stupidly rare in my experience, so a new toon can easily starve to death.

30$ is about 25$ too much for this p.o.s. game.

Why anyone would bother with this kind of game is beyond me. Definitely not recommended. If you have an extra 30$ to spend, just set it on fire, you'll likely have more fun that way than playing this game.

While improving stability, they have yet to re-implement the random mission spawners, they've gutted the crafting system, replacing it with near meaningless RNG crafting, and have level gated their content. In short, they started out as a "sandbox" style of mmo shooter, but have now turned toward the "themepark" style of mmo shooter. As it stands now, with launch but a few days away, i cannot help but feel that the glory days are already in the past.
