It definitely has an early Resident Evil vibe. I would recommend it to anyone who loves survival horror. There is a decent amount of story to be uncovered although it can be difficult to piece it all together at times. The setting, especially the Hotel, is great, mechanics seem to hold up, however, the puzzle solutions can at times be confusing and knowing where to go next can take a lot of trial and error. Overall, its a buy despite any shortcomings it might have. I would love to play a second iteration of this game.

Such a great bit of fun with a fair amount of replayability. Steamworld Heist 2 builds on everything that was good with the first game and adds more. For lovers of turn-based games its a must buy IMO, full price, sale price, I don't care, just buy it. I really hope they continue to build on this model for Steamworld Heist and make more of these games.

What a great bit of fun this is. A throwback style from a past era of gaming that can still shine with the proper writing and care. I have so few complaints about this game I'm not even going to bother bringing them to the fore. If you enjoy the dark element of the Cthulhu and turn based combat, buy it. Worth every penny.

If Bioshock and Borderlands had a kinder, gentler, bastard child, Bendy and The Dark Revival would be its name.

It doesn't take long for me to remember why I love this series of games. The humor and awkwardness of it all is always funny to me and the characters are meaningful in a way most games never achieve. If you like quirky well fleshed out characters, the world of organized crime, and a hefty sprinkle of mystical abilities, this is the game for you.

There are good things about Starfield, unfortunately the bad outweighs the good, considerably. The game feels like it was copy and pasted together with a ton of reusable assets, and there is no sense of discovery and wonder, despite being put into an entire galaxy of stars. There is no reason to engage in base building other than to get a couple of the achievements. The entire game feels bare-bones like its still in Alpha. Very disappointing effort and I don't know if its who is employed at Bethesda, or who is in charge at Bethesda, but they are in trouble now. Another effort like this on Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 5 and it could spell curtains for Bethesda's player base.

New Blood has successfully revived the boomer shooter genre with entries like Dusk and Amid Evil. Eat health, destroy evil, find a key. Rinse and Repeat. Game play is smooth as glass, weapons are interesting, and the sound track remains up to the task throughout.

So incredibly good, its just too bad its so hard to bottle lightning. This is quite possible the greatest survival horror game ever made, although Dead Space gives it a run for its money. Both are standouts in the genre.

Still so good after all these years. One of the best remakes I've ever seen, worth every penny. The only changes that were made were made for the better and everything that made the original so good remains in tact.
