Jeez. What a game. My second Star Ocean game I've finished (Divine Force was the first).

I kinda liked it and kinda hated it at the same time. There is just SO MUCH GRINDING. I swear half of my playtime was grinding. And once you get the teleporter, you realize how small the actual world is and when you just run past enemies. So my advice is: don't do any quests until you get the teleporter. Running around long distances, avoiding enemies becomes tiresome quite quickly. They should give fast travel option sooner in the game.

And once you get fast travel, of course you cannot teleport back to "base", but you need to run run run. You spend most of the time tapping the "run" button on world map.

And the save points. My god. One dungeon literally took me 1,5-2 hours to beat and there was save point at the beginning of dungeon, and at the end. So there was about 1,5h between saves.

The final dungeon + cinematics + credits took me 4 HOURS. That's 4 hours without saving. Final credits and cinematics lasted about hour or so. But the save points are just way too scarce in this game. And at some times you have many savepoints almost next to each other.

So If you are in a hurry, don't play it.

Also sometimes you trigger boss just by accident. There are few instances when you think you are supposed to go to next room for the boss. Wrong. Boss is just before that room. So always be prepared.

At times, this game just felt very cheap. It's not any more difficult than any other JRPG I've played. The difficulty comes from the cheap shots this game takes at you. Like the scarce savepoints and sudden bosses (only few of those, luckily)

Story was quite weak, but OK. The game lacked it's own "sephiroth". I did like the characters though. Lymle was my favourite. Everyone seems to hate her, but I found her kind of adorable. They don't go very deep with the characters, but that's ok. You get to know them a little in these small "Personal Events". The biggest problem with the game was with pacing and overly long dungeons.

Sound acting was Ok. At the beginning I used English sounds, but at some point I started to use Japanese voices only.

Overall I enjoyed this, not as good as Divine Force (which I really loved), but this was my second Star Ocean game I have played (Divine Force was the first),

So If you like JRPGs and are prepared to grind a lot ,and are not bothered by savepoints that force you to play long sessions at times, you may find this enjoyable.

It's hard for me to recommend this game, but in the end, I had somewhat fun so I guess it's thumbs up.

Do you feel like a King? Do you feel like Of? Do you feel like a Fighter? If your answer is yes, then get the game.

It's not the best Mega Man game, but if you enjoy Mega Man - games, you should get this too. Level design is weak compared to other games in the series, also music is nothing memorable, so don't expect any classic tracks like you heard in MM2, MM3 or MM4. Graphics are nice and colorful, I'd still rather see some HD 2D grapics in style of MM8.

Me : Sht! I don't believe it!

Robocop:RC : What?

ME: You... you burnt the f-king GPU!

Robocop:RC : I had to show you the graphics! What do you want?

ME : It's as good as obsolete!, you a-hole. You stupid, stupid a-hole!

Yes. This game looks awesome. It plays awesome. It is a demanding game if you want everything maxed out (4K, EPIC). It made my RTX 4060 feel obsolete already.

Great game. It's not perfect and has it flaws. I don't agree with everything story-wise. But I waited this game for 33 years and I finally got it. Ever since I saw Robocop 1 as 6 year old kid (in 1990), I've loved the movie. So finally we get a GOOD game that gets the character and the world right. Gameplay is FUN, and proves that not everything needs to be overly complicated. We don't duck, cover or go prone. We SHOOT. Throw people with motorcycles and CRT monitors. And it is FUN.

It took me 20 hours to beat the game on first time. I preordered the game and I think I got my moneys worth of fun. So if you like Robocop and if you like fun shooters, this is a good purchase.

Remake of the SNES classic. If you like the original, you're going to love this. It's excellent in every way.

I did like Blaster Master Zero, so I thought I would like this one as well. Well, long story short. Liked the game, but it is worse than the first game. Gameplay is less fun, music is not as good, level design is worse. Lots of small stuff. In the later parts of the games there is a level where you die if you touch the wall. It just wasn't very fun to play.

Not a bad game, but I'd rather play the first one again.

Finally I got myself to play this game as it's been on my account for about 5 years.

Game looks surprisingly good even for it's age. It's 7 years old game and still looks very nice. I liked the graphical design of the world and lighting etc. Very good looking game. But that's about the good this game has to offer.

Fighting is like Batman Arkham - style, but lot worse and less fun. You can make your own combos but you only get 4 different ones. You just change the moves.

Story was ridiculous and I really had no idea what was going or cared about it. Father evil, mother, company memory wipe, mutants etc. evil mastermind AI (or something) I didn't care about it. It was a mess. And when you are not fighting you climb around the neo paris like in any other game (Prince of persia, Tomb Raider, Assasins Creed etc) you know the drill.

Sounds were OK and music OK as well, nothing memorable.

I would rate it 5/10 because it honestly felt like a chore to finish. Too bad since this game really had interesting topic and beautifully created world.

Buy if you got nothing else to play and are interested in the sci-fi setting.

One of the greatest games I have ever played since I started gaming in 1988. This game is beautiful, sad, emotional, thought provoking, an experience you don't want to miss.

A true masterpiece.

Amazing! Finally us PC users got the comic that was originally only coming with console release. I even emailed Reef when the game was released If they could give us the comic at some point - I hope it helped. Also free DLC with that. Yes please. Great job Reef and Teyon! Nice to see this game supported.
