pretty good soundtrack that was given away for free, seems to still be available as of today.
i use this OST in other games that have weak sounding tracks.

Sorry but i can't separate initial review fully so here's it ALL like Meat in a grinder:

GRIND AF game if i EVER PLAYED "1st multiple dozens of hours" BUT it CAN be a LOT of FUN with friends "if" they help you to understand how it ALL plays out.
Without friends the game "CAN" be atrocious leveling up.

Knowing the mechanics of how the game works is the ONLY way to save yourself headaches.
I had NO idea what i was from the starting point & people in "general" are doing their own thing not willing to spend time with YOU !

Want to play crew 2 don't even bother with Xbox cause MOST of my "friends" have moved on to other games.
PC is where it's AT 100%

Grinding is where you'll spend time without help & / or looking up help ! (LOOK up best ways to save time)
I Love & HATE this game......it has taken me getting to level 800+ (with friend help) to figure the in's & out's
This is becoming 1 of my favorite racing "adventure" games.

Never really got in to the original but this time around on the FREE weekend it grabbed my attention.
it seems to be many games i like all in 1 but with a bit too much "grinding"
if' you're on the fence then at least try it on a free weekend deal.

I recommend this to people who like NFS, Grid, Forza horizon, test drive unlimited, gotham racing & other similar style games.
DO NOT expect to get somewhere for free or "EASY" in this game. That was my mistake getting in to it from start

Loved the game on PS1 & was 1 of the reasons on getting a PC with a geforce 256.
Played this game along with MDK & soul reaver when they 1st came out.
i think at a discount this game is worth getting if you're in to dark atmospheric games.
might be too old looking for some, but there are plenty of "retro" gamer's that'll love this.
for it's time it was a blast but i kept getting lost in the game.

Didn't think i would feel this way after a long slew of "wanky" car handling since Need for Speed: The Run (2011).
I HATED teh run, it was just overly difficult without a good reason.
NFS heat from my SHORT experience with it says YES YES & YES.
i tried it through game pass & just HAD to get it even though i was just going to wait years before plopping down the $
GLAD game pass convinced me to buy it while it's "well" priced.
NFS - Heat IMO is their best game yet since maybe early 2000's
will update more after a good nights sleep.
YES this is worth getting, reminds me of 3-4 favorite games combined in 1.

Update 1: xbox 1 controller if NOT connected wired has No chance of reconnecting while in game ! (needs a fix PLEaSE)
Update 2: Game DOES start to feel repetitive after a while & i wish designers of games STOPPED using the "GRIND" effect, it Really doesn't help make the player want to keep going ON !
Game is NOW feeling like a chore ! & i am level 24 i think, i am NOT thrilled to get to 50.
All in all, with a sale price i recommend BUT games these days seem like F2P grind or diablo 3 BULL.........SHizz.............NO THANK's, i don't like this future direction ! ! ! ! ! ! !

They made it so hard that even easy feels like ultra violence WTF ! ! !
i'll change my review if they lighten up the difficulty so we "lesser skilled" can actually play it.
DO NOT BUY unless you want to rage quit Way too many times & SMASH your pc + burn down the neighborhood

I Don't play DOOM so i can play demon souls, casual players & low skilled players will HATE the difficulty
GTFO ID, how dare you turn "easy" / too young to day into dark souls arena, Noooooooooo, i don't want to smashing everything in my house ............

Update:
I recommend ONLY if you can deal with losing a LOT in this DLC.
it is Very hard even on easy but i am getting better.

this game is like a 3D version of Terraria sort of.
it's a survival game that still needs some work & has had many updates so don't worry about it being abandoned.
some may not like it & it can feel a little slow in progress but it's not meant to be a skyrim.
currently it's on sale for cheap so i would say it's worth it even if you don't get too into it at 1st.
graphics wise i'am not a "must" have bleeding edge kind of gamer, it's fun & you have coop.
it's hard to give this game a score since it's work in progress but better then some other recent games like fallout 76 or anthem.i will update this when i have explored more of the game.

Haven't finished the game yet but from what i have played this game has kept me ADDICTED the entire time.
This game feels like 10 games in one & in a good way.the game play, looks & music reminds me of the doom games, quake 3,4, quake wars, unreal tournament 2003-4, gears of war, borderlands, painkiller, necrovision, dark stalkers, legacy of kain (blood omen & soul reaver) & serious sam to name a few.
it looks & runs absolutely fantastic, the guys at ID are top notch programmers & it clearly shows with the work they put into doom eternal.
Doom Eternal for me was easier to get in & used to compared to doom 16.
This is a fast paced game & at times i also feel like a tourist taking my time wondering around exploring
Surprisingly this game plays better with a xbox 360 controller then doom 2016 does.

i am finding that going back to doom 16 is not as much fun after playing this.
the map control & layout is easier & less "clunky" then doom 16.
There is just So Much in the way of movement & controls to get used to.
I am finding the multiplayer difficult because there are so MANY functions to remember.
Also i am a "aged" gamer & can't play fast complicated games like i did 20 years ago :(
in a odd way this almost feels like i am playing a RTS/RPG game with all the features in it.
people complained about all the tool tip pop ups but for a "new to" modern doom player it helped me know what to do.I am glad they added that & it would have been nice if they did it the same way for Doom 16.
There really is very little in "cons" for this game other then maybe more ammo could have been given but i am slowly getting used to it.
i am playing this on EASY cause i SUCK at fps games these days.

Finally finished the game on the easiest setting & it took me much longer then expected.
Fantastic SP experience except for 1 thing.
The end Boss fight feels like it was rushed out & not as dfficult, it surprised me how easy it was.
What i do Not like is battle mode.

This is in the top 10 of my all time fav FPS games, would have been top 5 if MP was improved.

Fairly good game, some what confusing On it's sword play style. Once you see some one show you how to use your it, it eventually becomes Natural.
Oh man this game reminds me of some of my favoured games from 95 to maybe 2004-5 ?
Odd difference is in perspective of view, kings field was my 1st great arpg followed by dungeon lords & this combo makes this a ABSOLUTE hit with ME !
it's a very nice mix, i have a feeling these dev's LOVED what i played & loved back then...........
Sadly i wish i entered a review MUCH earlier for this cause i didn't know or watched how the mechanics of the game played out

Had earlier versions of this game on CD/DVD when they were own or published by dream catcher games.(was sad to see them close)
A Fun old game that now looks dated but still has way more things to offer then newer games these days.
i have spent hundreds of hrs on this before steam sold it.
it's old but it's still fun to play even in 2019.

i man, i loved the old quakes & doom, mainly original doom & & quake 2-3.....2 on ps1, quake 3 on PC just flattened me out with how amazing it was from music to movement to level design.
No wonder it is loved to this day..................i have to say i did like quake 4, not many did sadly.
the quake 3 was beyond any other game these days, it's still a blast & well made.
the doom 3 game was good but it "felt" like it lost it's magic !
Yes, og doom just had a magic.................i think doom 2016 sortof has it but still not 100%
2020 i think it is gonna have it ALL.....................i don't wanna say it....but it will !
