Early Access Review
Abiotic Factor taught me that I don't actually hate survival games. I just hate wandering around the woods picking up rocks and sticks.

But wandering around an underground megastructure looking for screws and staplers? Now we're talking!

Jokes aside, this game is pretty much SCP if it took place in a half-life inspired alternate universe, and I greatly appreciate the focus on narrative and level design sorely lacking from other survival games. Definitely worth a wishlist at least, if any of that interests you.

This tricked me into liking a survival game. The story's good and the world is weird. 10/10!

I would describe this game as "Thrilling". I felt frequently thrilled playing it. While the atmosphere is very spooky, the gameplay itself made me feel less like a horror protagonist and more like a Harlem globetrotter, skillfully outsmarting and outmaneuvering my foes while talking smack. This game's mechanics are fun incarnate for me. Pure, distilled fun, right into my veins. Highly recommended!

A damn fine game, the passion of the developers shines brightly throughout. I can only hope we one day get to see a VR spinoff title!

A Fine entry into Analog Horror. This and Night Signal have made me a permanent fan of this author's work! Its got this unique and wonderful tone that manages to capture both eerie and whimsy simultaneously and in masterful strokes. I so desperately want more games like this to fill my library. I can only hope this proves a profitable enough venture to encourage the creation of more games like this.

So buy this game, and do thine job well. Maybe you too will one day join me in the soil.

I played this for 19 hours and got 100% of the achievements.

A hearty recommendation from me as a fan of story-based FPS games. This studio is definitely one to watch as they've hit it out of the park twice now (Thrice if you count the DLC they did for Terminator: Resistance as a separate game, which I do, because it deserves the title). These developers treat their licenses with damn fine respect, to the point that copyright holders should be paying THEM for the privilege of developing a game with their IP.

They have an amazing attention to detail, and a clear love of the source material (Or at least the craftmanship to make it appear so). This is coupled with fantastic gameplay that really works well within the limits of the Robocop franchise, nothing felt out of place, and every ability felt fun to use.

The writing was witty and matched the vibes of the world, and I really enjoyed what they did with the story, as disparate elements were weaved back together in ways that made me feel like my earlier choices mattered. Not only that, no matter what I did or said, it still felt like robocop, I can only imagine how hard that must have been to write! Many options and no response out of place, they really did the character justice! Robocop loves justice!

A standout aspect was the level design and environment art. While the game offers a wide variety of locals for shootouts, they also made fantastic reuse of multiple levels, to the point I was excited to see them reappear. And they all look Fantastic! I even caught myself staring at the skylines multiple times, especially the second visit to Downtown during a foggy overcast day. The Art team really did the license proud.

Only complaint was that we didn't get a proper shootout in the hospital. I was really hoping they'd do that. A mild disappointment, but not one to tarnish the overall experience.

Exactly the kind of experience I'm looking for these days. Top Marks! Maybe if we're lucky, we'll see some DLC for this title as well! I'd buy that for a dollar! Maybe even twenty of them.

If you like movement platformers, you GOTTA play this! The movement's simple but absolutely bonkers.

The story and writing are also top notch, I love it!

An interesting combination of Survival and Mascot horror, sans the horror. Mascot Survival?

Either way, its a breath of fresh air for both genres, as it combines the mechanics of survival horror with the character focus of Mascot games, and does so with a level of sincerity and authenticity to help inoculate against the malaise many people (myself included) are feeling towards Mascot horror as a whole.

Its story is straightforward and endearing, the writing is excellent, and the mechanics are very faithful to the core survival elements of survival horror games. I found myself having to improvise a lot, even when employing ample ammo-conservation techniques, so that's a big + in my book.

Just don't go in expecting horror, this game is not that scary, but it is quite wholesome.
