I have been evolving as a gamer since the old Pong, Asteroids games through the era of the great Arcades, the evolution of PC gaming and the many different games that have been showcased through the years. As a PC gamer I play primarily Shooters, RPG's and Open World these days, although I will try many titles that are groundbreaking, or are story driven with good action. I have collected PC games since '98 and have several hundred titles, but I take issue with the direction that many of these developers have taken, what with pay to play requirements, half finished garbage and these newer abortions that have "Agenda's" they are forcing down anyone's throat that is foolish enough to waste their money on them. In short, I love Gaming across platforms, but do not have time for a lot of the nonsense I see these days. Gaming across the board by many of these "Developers" has been manipulated in ways that have literally Sucked the Fun out of them. The Greed Driven Corporate attitude that has been painfully evident for some time now has driven me to be VERY selective about anything out these days. I would pass on my recommendations to other gamer's out there. NEVER pre-order anything, nor buy them when they come out at full price no matter how good the Hype looks, It's on you if you do! Read the "user" reviews and be aware that these developers pay a lot of cash to those people who are willing to post Bogus reviews for money. I use meta-critic and drill down to user comments always checking out the bad reviews. Sadly they are the most truthful, Believe me - or not. I love Gaming and the advancements we are seeing in graphics and some of the newer trends, on the positive, but learned a long time ago to be careful of what I put into my gaming library. :)
